I get the feeling that 99.9% of them lack originality and any desire to do anything different. I mean just ask yourself How many Teenagers do you see at the local store causing a racket with their dyed hair white hoodies and camo pants? or the girls who follow them around all tanned E.T style with an unhealthy dose of blonde in their hair with their pushups and short skirts or what have you. They lack creativity, all listening to rap or Techno. They have no desire to read or play an instrument at all. for example. show them a guitar and they ask what this ancient instrument is. Well Pardon my french but what. the. ****. Im 16 going 17, I play guitar, I read, I listen to all kinds of music (Rap aside) like Muse, metallica, sigur r=s, jeff who, jet black joe, for a minor reflection and cranberries, Not to mention I dont spend an hour per day to fix my hair apply some cheap cologne and what have you. What Im getting at is basically is there something wrong with me? was I born in the wrong decade or something? I could do with some answers from you old folks. Shes 15 and already looks like an emo *, won't touch anything unless its been downloaded from iTunes and on an iPod, is actually blond but dyes her hair black and uses way to much black eye shadow, and *es and moans whenever you tell her she looks like an emo kid. I'm hoping this is a phase and she will grow out of it. My brother, just turned 18 in May and has absolutely no ambition. He just got his first job as a pizza delivery boy last month and already is *ing about how hard work is. He spends 100% of his free time playing FPS games on his XBOX 360. His 3rd one no less. The others have all died to RROD. Hes always been an idiot. We live on the information age and kids/teens can sense how adults are being enslaved against their will. They can basically feel how society could be so much better then it actually is so they give it the finger. Most of them will however have to face adulthood as it is and realize that things are not going to change tomorrow or the next day after tomorrow etc... edit: there's nothing wrong with you, you just aren't trying to be cool like the rest of your peers and that is what makes you cool

You know the ones that tend to * about people like the OP having a superiority complex, are generally the ones that are inferior. You might want to remember that before you say something that stupid again. Also you play right into exactly what the OP is criticizing. A 16 year old should be focusing on LEARNING and getting ready for COLLEGE. Not ing a bunch of underaged girls and getting them pregnant. (sex =/= pregnant, at least not every time, but probability is not in your favor, and sex education has really been lacking.) I have a feeling you have not been very successful at life. If you have, then your opinion makes no sense. Someone who is successful could not have such an opinion unless they were regretful about their own pursuits at that young age. Tbh I have no idea why I even bothered to reply to you. I hope you are trolling. I hope that no one is that **ing stupid. But if you are, please go be stupid somewhere else.

Dont get me wrong, I like techno in sane quantities but its not something I enjoy listening to for hours, mainly because I dont like music that has the same beat for 7 minutes, I enjoy songs with variety. I think my nephews generation are a bunch of hoodie wearing, cider drinking, teenage pregnancy inducing asbo **s who don't even know how to spell due to 'text speak erosion' of the language. Basically we get old, don't understand the new generations and moan about it. If I have kids I know only this ... I will detest their music, dress sense and hair style. Seriously though, you go on facebook or a forum and look at how the youngsters of today spell and they are complete morons. Even the people I know who are older than me that I consider stupid still know the difference between two, too and to. Also in pubs (or bars as they are now called) the beer is too cold and the music is too loud. /end rant ... puts down daily mail.

You make alot of fair points, although I am talking about the kids the same age as me (slight difference) yet I see where you are going with that. My parents, well my dad especially likes similar music (he digs 80's I dig 80's) and he thinks my hair is smart and isnt complaining about my clothes or what have you. Make the Beership a reality!
