--Fluff-- I realy like the abandon wreck, and especially the abandon all nearby wrecks, options on wrecks. abandoning a wreck changes its color to blue and removes the criminal flagging for taking from it, so you can clearly set your intention to leave the wrecks for other to salvage. I was also able to have non corp mates in fleet tractor a wreck i owned, even if they where fleeted after it was killed. This is great stuff
--Feedback-- It would be very nice if the abandon flag allowed non-owners (non-corpmates such as alliance mates) to tractor the wrecks without being in fleet. this would allow for salvagers to head around after anomaly runners are clean up what others have left behind, without them even needing to be online or fleeted up.

Huh?
It sounds like a good idea to me.. you can abandon wrecks you don't intend to do anything with and let someone else come in and salvage and clear your wrecks without them worrying about getting ganked by wanna be pvpers

The real question is, can they tractor blue wrecks?

Huh? I didn't know there was anything to salvage off dead elves...

I think not, see OP's "feedback" section. Hopefully that's just a bug.

I agree that abandoned wrecks should be tractorable by anyone.
Also, I would suggest a global UI or overview setting allowing you to abandon ALL wrecks by default. This would save clicking for those who would use this option all the time.

yes very much good changes, i like the graphical changes to wrecks now to its cleaner Signature - CCP what this game needs is more variance in PVE aspects and a little bit less PVP focus, more content more varied level 1-4 missions more than just 10 per faction high sec low sec and 00 |

I do believe this is a bug. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. I will pass this along.

*Loot. This has NOTHING to do with salvaging.

Functionality?! In my EVE?!
+1 to CCP. I advertise for people to come take all my wrecks. NOBODY trusts you, and they tell you. -_-

It would round out this feature to excellence! to be able to tractor the "blue" wrecks and cans. Thanks for gracing my thread with a blue bar Atlas (second one this expansion), I'm feeling helpful :P -We So SeXy |

Just for confirmation...
This has nothing to do with criminal flagging for salvage does it?
If it does then please reconsider; Can flagging massively increased losses to ore thieves and Salvage flagging will do the same. At present Ninja salvaging (so called salvage theft) is driven by profit and if you're able to eliminate the profits of a ninja salvager they'll go elsewhere. With a flagging system salvaging becomes motivated by loss and that's a lot tougher to control. --

no it relates to someone that has abandoned their wrecks that enables anyone to tractor them without flagging
Be interested to see post dominions plan to be able to scan abadnoend wrecks and if after 2 hours of ownership that thye revert to abandoned nad last a total of 6 hours - enable scanners to find forgotten mission loot and be able to claim Signature - CCP what this game needs is more variance in PVE aspects and a little bit less PVP focus, more content more varied level 1-4 missions more than just 10 per faction high sec low sec and 00 |

How about after 1 hour they become abandoned and after 2 or maybe 3 they vanish. In mission hubs the amount of wrecks is staggering and keeping them there for 6 hours would make it even more laggy with the server having to track everything for 3 times as long.
It is a shame to see all those wrecks go to waste and you can't find them.

WoW actually has no way to drop ownership rights to killed NPCs in terms of loot. TROLLERS BE TROLLIN.

Can we have a option to perma abandon wrecks and cans so we don't have to keep abandoning them after each spawn? So they are just abandoned as soon as the rat dies.

Thats nice of you. Thanks, yeah I can understand, having so much on the table as it is. But I hope this goes through as well. Would be a nice option. Cus having to hit abandon all wrecks after each spawn kind of turns out to be a game in itself. :P Spawn dies, hit abandon all wrecks. Spawn dies, hit abandon all wrecks. Spawn dies, hit abandon all wrecks. Spawn dies, hit abandon all wrecks.
Thats always lovely in angel extraviganza. Prob end up doing that about 25 times in just that one mission.

I have an idea. Make it so any wreck containing the mission item stays White? This not only makes it easier to find the mission item but gives that extra incentive for mission runners to abandon wrecks if they had no intention of salvaging.

How about giving the boss of the fleet the option to abandon cans and wrecks even when the owner is no longer in the fleet? Would help a lot.
