Level 4 missions are hard so please dont complain pertion and cry nerf if you lose ur beloved ship.
You people know who your are your the ones who pertioned about the mordus mission being to hard and if thats the case you have no chance on the level 4.
So this is an advanced warning please dont do it if your gonna cry nerf after you lose your bs
You cant beat Death But you can make the bastard work hard for it

One tip, if you want to still earn a lot from these level 4's.
Get together with someone who is doing the same agent missions.
Both of you accept a mission each. Then help each other in each others missions. You both get 50/50 from bounties but from 2 missions so its 100/100 anyway.
In one mission one person can loot, and in the other the person who hasnt looted yet can do so. It all stays fair and you both increase your survivability rate.
Its also more fun then soloing.

Hahaha, thats your opinion, Anub.If everybody thinks they are too hard, or too good in loot, they will get adjusted, and for good reason. But nice attempt to force your opinion on others.

Alt, shhhhhhhh
Anub is correct. Level 4 missions should be almost impossible to do solo they are for groups. They're lvl 4. Besides he's not forcing anyone to his opinion. It's a fact that lvl 4 missions are NOT designed for solo, of course some can be done. All he's asking is that ppl realize this and that way we won't have 400 whining threads about it.
Level 4 missions are Hard, don't whine, take friends.

I to hope they don't get watered down because of whining. They are good now. Don't know if they are harder then 0.0 hunting, but they do have some features that are different and will result in many destroyed ships. Really once you understand what you are doing most can be done solo although it might take so long that it wont be worth it, you make more running a bunch of lvl 3 missions.
Right now some of the new mission don't the "safety stickers" on them either, I wonder how long that will last. Really it shouldn't be hard to figure out that something is going to happen when you are offered a big reward and bonus for something that appears to be a easy mission, but I am sure many people will complain when the waves of npcs show up.

I don't get what people were complaining about with Mordus either. It showed up, was more difficult, but you got nicer bounties. I was still doing them in my cruiser, just warping out to repair when needed. Now, I don't even need to warp out, its just sad. Bring back the way it used to be. --------------
Your 720mm Howitzer Artillery I perfectly strikes Guristas Spy, wrecking for 411.2 damage. |

This is not that hard to kill. But they are programed to go after the guy that killed the last ship in Second spawn. with Everthing Running that Apoc lasted I would say 30sec, (double 720and Hardners)and you guys can guess how long the second Apoc Lasted .
So here we go.
Do the spawns have to put all they firepower on the last shooter ?
Looks like there may be a use for support cruisers after all.. if they all attack the same target, one apoc and one support cruiser would probably be able to do it?

umm, not being rude or nuffin, but lvl 4 missions are quite possible to do solo. you just need to be prepared. They may take longer solo, but thats ok. Even the level 4 Mordhu mission can be done solo. As can Pirate Invasion, the Score, and Sabotage supply line.
I get tired of people issuing warnings that you need 5 players (exaggeration ) to complet one ******* mission. They really aint that hard. Trust me. Just be careful and be prepared. Oh and you need a turbo charged indy to collect loot too, owing to the fact that you can have a string of loot cans 200km long in some missions
Thats my tuppence worth anyways

Edited by: Shadowsword on 08/11/2004 13:58:15 I think you'd need at least 2-3 support cruisers to keep up with the damage, and the Apoc would need to be very hardened, using like 4 of them. After that, you'd need one or two others guys to deal some damage, cause it would take forever for a single Apoc.
Of course, you can also do them solo, but it will take a lot of time, and leave little room for mistakes or little things like CTDs...

depends on how you do it. an apoc with 7-8 named tachs at 100-120km or more will take the whole lot down without taking a single shot in reply. btw, i dont use hardners and CTD has never caused me to lose a ship in an agent mission (yet )

Edited by: X'Alor on 08/11/2004 20:17:53 you going to need 3 people minimum. third person being the high speed hauler to follow along and loot up all the cargos
shooting 150+ npc's AND popping each container is going to take some time to say the least.
your going to need a small fleet to complete within an hour to get the bonus rewards that none of us know what they are going to be.
I'm sure we are going to be surprised.
thanks CCP

My only complaint about level 4s, and its not even a complaint about them really, is that there such a wide jump between level 3 and 4. Level 3 I can do pretty much all the missions fairly easily in a cruiser, heck some people can do almost all in a interceptor, but then a massive jump to level 4 where its damn hard to do most of the missions in a battleship with some of them probably requiring more than one. I would have just liked something in between :-)
Heck ramp up the difficult and reward on the level 3s again :-)
