Pretty much a tech II version of the soon to be realeased mining frig instead of having an ore bay it has a special compressed gas tank that can compress gas much like a rorque can compress minerals...

the ferox is loosing its optimal range bonus and ganing a 5% to damage bonus plus an extra mid slot plus increased base pg...
now back to the question at hand...

Don't mining lasers take a turret slot? That means the new frig should have three turret slots and should be able to mine gas from three harvesters.
Instead of a new gas mining ship, how about just changing ore bays to allow raw gas (unless they do already). That makes the new frigate even better.

Cause theres a hard cap at 5 harvesters, there are no yield increasing mods, no ships with yield bonuses.
With the current mechanics, any ship without 5 turret slots is terrible at gas harvesting compared to a ship with 5 turret slots.

Actually, it should have 5.
1 for each skill in gas mining as it's a T2 harvester ship.
No strip miners, and not enough power to fit more than 3 mining lasers.
