Hardin	Posted - 2004.11.16 13:39:00 - [35] NEWS UPDATE We are pleased to announce tha Operation Deliverance is proceeding ahead of schedule. Pirate operations in the region have dropped off dramatically due to high level of CVA activity and patrols in the region. As a result business is booming with a significant increase in the number of law abiding pilots doing business in the area. Nevertheless, pilots passing through the area are advised to show caution as pirates are still spotted occasionally. Pilots and corporations who wish to operate peacefully in the area, restpecting Amarr law, should contact CVA commanders for shared intel and pirate warnings. Thanks to the CVA's actions against the terrorists the Amarr Empire systems bordering Providence are enjoying fresh vitality and economic growth. Both population and trade is up. We hope that the Emperor will be pleased with the increased tax revenues coming from this once blighted region of the Empire. As a result of the surprisingly speedy success CVA pilots are once again being freed up to tackle the problem of Minmatar terrorism. In battles on Sunday and Monday Minmatar terrorist forces took significant losses. In one patrol two terrorist battleships, three cruisers, 3 interceptors and a frigate were destroyed for the loss of just one allied Megathron. It is our hope that these so called 'freedom fighters' will soon see the error of their ways and accept Amarrian superiority - thereby freeing up our forces to enforce Amarrian law across further territories. Amarr Victor! -ENDS- Editor's Notes The region under CVA protection includes the low-sec systems of Gemodi, Chamune, Yong, Bihpi, Mamet, Misaba, Ziriert, Hoshoun, Valmu, Unefish, Kheram. The neighbouring 0.0 corridor in Providence region (from Misaba to FSW) will also be patrolled by the CVA to prevent it from being used as a base for attacks on the Amarr Empire. All legitimate travellers and businessmen will be allowed to pass and the area will be open to lawful pilots who wish to mine or hunt (certain systems excluded.) We cannot at this stage guarantee the safety of those who choose to operate in the Misaba to FSW corridor (although we are minimising the danger). Those who chose to operate there do so at their own risk. It is the long term goal of the CVA and its allies to 'reclaim' this corridor in Providence for the Amarr Empire and gain Concord recogniton of Amarr sovereignty over this region.
