caps are shooting at the carrier, / station. nothing unrealistic with regards to 0.0 warfare with the dreads on the field here. If you look closer, they are fighting at a outpost (the amarr one). Dominion sov mechanics requiers you to reinforce outposts to claim sov and the system.

command ships are usualy put on SS or at some pos. so ok'ish. T2 shipps are used ALLOT in fleet fights (long range hac's for anti dictor pewpew, recons for EW or cloaky buisnis and so on.)
I'w seen t3 shipps in fleet combat situations, although it's not common, it does happen.

how boring would a trailer bee if this was the reality? allso, every shippclass has it's roll, you dont always see your suport fleet all focusing on the primary for the BS fleet. tacklers spread their points etc.

I was thinking the same! 
eventhough there are atleest 4 moms or supercarriers in the trailer (Aeon at the beginning, and 3 Nyxes towards the end)
BUT! in the trailer they are called Supercarriers, at 1:13 you can see amarr fighter bombers nuking a chimera. This makes me think this trailer was made befor CCP Nozh came and ****t on our faces. more so, if you go have a look at the dominion site, the first page has the trailer window (click to play) in the pic there, you can se a Hel, with a coupple of minmatar fighters, and a coupple of minmatar fighter bombers!
At screenshot/wallpaper page, the middle wallpaper has amarr fighterbombers in it, when you click the tumpnail, or the 1024p download link, the other resolution downloads has some gay brutixes in them. :(
Ironicaly, the 3 nyxes got DDD'd by the avatars at the end

This is almost as "unrealistic" as t3 cruisers in fleet fights.. although it does happen at times.

This is a TRAILER, not ingame footage.
You might (not) know this, but they dont have people flying around in thous shipps, the whole trailer is scripted using a spechial program they have for making movies like this.
Personaly i ****ing loved it! And i honestly think this is one of the better things Dominion has given us.
