Some questions about Sov in Dominion that i dont understand
1) TCU's control sov in Dominion, 1 is anchored per gate, if 51% of the gates are attacked with SBU's, reds can then attack the station or the i-hub and within 48 hours take the system. Correct ?
2) In dominion, will an alliance Exec be able to kill sov like was done with BOB? Would the alliance be aware ( alliance wide email from CONCORD ) that if x isk isnt paid by someone in x time, the alliance folds?
3) If Sov / IHubs / TCU's are owned by seperate corps, not 1 master holding corp, would that provide better protection for the alliance in case the alliance exec tries to kill the alliance or doesnt pay the bills?

The BoB thing was caused by a director disbanding the alliance. If you disband an alliance it no longer exists thus is cannot hold sov. Dominion is not changing that fact.
As for the other questions I suggest you re-read the dev blog as any answer you get here will simply be re-iterating that.

I remember playing EVE before formal alliances were in-game... there were simply corporations that had blue stands to each other, and you had to write your alliance name in the INFO part of your character info.
The reason I bring this up is that a similar thing could have happened in Dominion. There was talk of having the cost of Sov escalate as a function of the number of systems claimed. The solution here would be for a large alliance to spin off their corps, and have the individual corps form alliances.
Using BOB as an example (only because you brought them up), that would mean that FIN would form the FIN alliance, BNC would form the BNC alliance, EVOL would form the EVOL alliance... and they would all independently claim systems. The would remain BOB (or IT, in this case) by entering "Member of IT" as part of their player info, but keep their overall costs lower by claiming what ammounts to fewer systems per corp.
To your points:
1. With SBUs on the gates, you still have to deal with the Shield reinforced timer and the armour reinforced timer... and with each being up to 48 hours (if i remember correctly), you need up to 4 days to take the system.
2. Corps can't hold sov, so if the allaince gets disbanded, it would make sense that SOV would drop. The only difference is that SOV is no longer tied to downtime... so the Sov drop should be instantaneous, not "after the next downtime"/
3. This point is tied to what I wrote before and what the answer is in #1. Though, I don't believe they have alliance wallets as an option, so splitting the systems by corp would avoid a single corp from screwing the pooch and not paying the bills, and causing sov to drop.

Anyone with at least half a brain. That disbanding an alliance, affecting potentially thousands of players is pretty much the only corp/alliance thing that can be done by a single player with not even a 24 hour timer is ******ed.
