Did anyone see the Red Ship Kill Bloom that covered about 1/4 of the Universe Map yesterday? The 0.0 system showed that 17,035 ships had been destroyed in the last hour. 
Is that something that happens regularly prior to a major patch?  Or, was there a hell of a battle prior to the patch down time?

Someone releasing the last of the AoE DD b4 nerf/change is my guess :D

for all the planks who cba to read stuff, the expect the server to be up around 21:00 gmt 10:00pm UK for the idiots amongst us. this is a following up date, bug fix patch for the patch they launched to then fix the original intended patch.. no doubt
and for the idiot calling the rest idiots - GMT is UK time

LOOOL u fail.. admiting u are an idiot. GMT olso accounts for Lisbon olso, not just the UK FYI. and think of those who are wondering what GMT was, by letting them know GMT is UK time. wonder who has egg on there face. speak when u have something of resonable quality.

and GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time, Greenwich is in the UK
