They change your voice. Log into Singularity and try them out.
1. Press ESC
2. Go to the "Audio & Chat" tab
3. Click "Change Voice Font" on the right
4. Speak to your best friend using EVE Voice

While I respect your opinion, I hope you realize that there are over 300000 subscribers and not all of them want the same thing. Something you don't like might be the best thing that ever happened to someone else and vice versa. And as you can clearly see from the patch notes of this expansion, it wasn't the only thing we created/changed/fixed.

But what i would like to know is, can this voice change be used to sound more like in a space ship? When you hear the voices in the trailer you know what i mean. Really... if you only can make your voice sound like a girl or child now, i would say thats a waste of ressouces which should have gone into more important areas.

There was a last minute problem with deploying the Voice Fonts feature. It should make its way to TQ very soon though.
