Hi,
Please try clearing your cache and settings by removing the "EVE Online preferences" folder under Library.
1. Open finder 2. Click your username to the left under "Places" 3. Open Library 4. Locate the folder "EVE Online preferences" and move it to the trash

Are you getting network lag or graphics lag (drops in FPS)? Try lowering your graphics settings a bit and see if that helps.
The workaround to remove the "EVE Online preferences" folder should only have to be done once, if you have the problem of the client not starting up properly. If the issue keeps coming back, please file a detailed bug report.

Hi all,
Since last night we have been working on tracking down the crash issues and trying to reproduce them in house. Those of you who are getting these crashes, bug reports with the following would be greatly appreciated:
- What you were doing at the time of the crash. - What Version of OS X you are running. - What hardware and specifically what graphics card you have. - A cider Trace of when you are trying to start the client back up but it fails to load (Info about Traces can be found at the bottom of this page: http://wiki.eveonline.com/wiki/Mac_Bug_Reporting) - Any workaround you have found.
Please note that: 10.4 also known as Tiger is not officially supported. The same goes for the Macbooks with integrated graphics cards GMA950 or X3100. At the same time we are not trying actively to break the client for those who use it.

Apocrypha ran on my macbook with a GMA950 under Tiger with no problems (except low graphics, of course) so I was expecting that Dominion would do it as well.
I am afraid that this is an assumption you cannot make when you are running on unsupported hardware. Unsupported hardware means that we are not testing on it and we are not developing new features/changes with the unsupported hardware in mind.

As I said in a previous thread. Yesterday gave us important information on this issue and we are still looking into it.

I updated the workaround. It seems that the crash happens less often when sound is turned off.
Please look at: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1223677&page=1#2

Originally by: Carmen Opausia The thread you refer to is this thread. The suggestions at the beginning of the thread don't solve the problems but you are able to at least log in. After 20 to 30 minutes you crash again and need to start from square one.
The reason I posted a link to the workaround is because I updated it with new steps. Disabling sound might make the crashes appear less frequently.

For those of you who have missed it. Please take a look at the updated workaround steps on the first page and disable sound.
