I read in the patchnotes for Dominion that Titans get 300% increase to primary damage buffer, 150% increase to secondary buffer and 100% to structure, pluss beefed up damagedealing.
Why is this happening? Arn't Titans being produced left and right now? Should they really be that powerful when there are atarting to get a lot of them. Or have they been nerfed in some other area I missed?
Seems wierd to beef them up that much without taking something away? Have I missed something? If so I'm sorry, just came back, haven't played for a few months.

Doomsday device is turned into a single wepon that does 3 mil dmg. Titans are stuck on field for 30 seconds after firing the DD, and they can't cloack or jump out within 10 minnutes.
Titans are not longer feard, they are made to be killed easy...

Should've read the patchnotes more carefully

Aha, so no AOE effect on DDD, ok, is the cooldown timer still 1 hour or has it been reduced?

I remember suggesting making the doomsday a single target beam weapon when it first went live, so we could have the big ships blasting away at each other. Nice to see that someone eventually listened.

I welcome the Titan changes for the balance in gameplay it brings.
Not so happy for the prospects of selling my full nomad implant sets though

I for one support a special chribba edition titan with 1000% mining yield boost. _

Cooldown is now 5 minutes iirc, but you can't jump or cloak during that time. --- 34.4:1 mineral compression ISRC Racing, Season 7 - schedule |

Doesn't have to be a special edition. Just give ORE their own titan.

Titans have been changed to be only really useable in large fleets, which seems fitting.
The Doomsday cooldown prevents it form beeing used to much as a solo pwnmobile, which would have been its new role had they not made the strict cooldown.

Shouldn't they have renamed it from Doomsday to something like "Death Ray"?

I vote they call it the Wave Motion Gun. Then you can name your titan the Yamato and be done with it.

Considering how titans have basically closed off entire sectors just by their existence and that of AOE doomsdays, the change is welcome. Finally those lazy corporations that had massive space without much work have to actually work to control space.
No more AOE wiping.
