ack, just bootcamp it- if Bill Gates wants pirated copies of his software going around because we're not all going to pay 300$ for his joke program... so be it... but from what I've heard, there's going to be a lot of players for sale on ebay instead...
I have bootcamp, problem is graphics are totally screwey on Win XP side, I've seen others reporting the same issue, so it's a no win for me here.

Also, reporting the bugs you encounter is also very helpful.
Hmmm.... i can see here every configuration of Mac¦s, sure that it is a problem of a few (maybe wrong :-)) ) fitted Macs? 1 day after patch i still belived, thet the new patch was so wonderful without major problems. 1 hour later the sleeber tecnologie of the bugs awake and do their jobs -> kick out the Macusers out of game. MUHAHAHA

To be fair, Tiger isn't supported any more.
I agree totally, and if this seemed solely a Tiger issue I would come up with the $169 US to do the snow leopard upgrade. However, seeing all the posts in Mac land, the Dominion client woes seem to affect all Macs, even the newest machines running the latest os. So until CCP takes a definitive stance on what the Dominion issues actually are for Macs, I'll hold the cash for now. In their response to my bug report they stated it's a Mac issue at this time, not solely a Tiger related one.

Dominion with initial patch worked fine for a while, then after I passed through a gate it froze except for the small box. Hitting esc brought up the pref box, but I could not log out or quit through that. Had to use a hard quit command. Other accounts on same client copy and comp still work (as of now) the client copy on my laptop still works (I use that comp less often) So will a new download fix this or is this the freeze bug that CCP casquade was referring to in osx channel? Is there a fix yet? If not what is the time line for the fix?
...did not want to spend my next 4 days off work writing on the forums...

Same problem as stated by others. Worked first time. Then died. Now when I try to start up Eve the Dominion logo comes up and then nothing. What the hell am I supposed to do??? Very unhappy that I paid the big bucks for a years subscription recently. Macs have constant problems.

Delete cache and settings folders. Whenever you cannot start the client that's what you need to do (especially after a crash). It's been written on nearly every thread.
Also: 1) look at the sticky and disable sounds, this will make you crash less frequently. 2) once you have redone all your settings, backup those folders so that next time you crash you can restore them and avoid redoing all the setups.

I believe the Tiger-Leopard-Snow Leopard will cost $169, it's the Leopard-Snow Leopard upgrade that's cheap, as far as I know. But I'll start looking into it.

Apply the "Leaopard-Snow Leopard" upgrade to Tiger and you'll have Snow Leopard. It worked from day one of the Snow Leopard release.
