Hello all.
I am able to tech2-fit a Jaguar with a MSE, mwd/scram/web, DCU, and either 2xPDS or 1x Gyro/1x Nano, 3x125's and a small nos. Rigs will be 3 extender. I plan to fly this ship in the CVA-owned area of Providence, fighting against Sansha npc and helping locals fight PC grief.
I know the fitting. S&M helped me decide on the fit above. I do not know the tactic for how to fly Assault ship in pve/pvp. I recall reading assault ship is very good to rat, so this is my choice (because I am minmatar frigate/gun t2).
Could someone to please provide insight in to fly this ship PVE, and also PVP specific to 0.0/providence I would thank you much. :)

Use the dual MSE fit as posted above. Fairly standard (different ways to do it, I just went with the one that's easy on your SP level):
[Jaguar, Standard dual MSE] Micro Auxiliary Power Core I Gyrostabilizer II Damage Control II
Catalyzed Cold-Gas I Arcjet Thrusters Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction Faint Epsilon Warp Scrambler I
125mm Gatling AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S 125mm Gatling AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S 125mm Gatling AutoCannon II, Republic Fleet EMP S Small Unstable Power Fluctuator I
Small Ancillary Current Router I Small Projectile Burst Aerator I
Assault Ships are not necessarily 'very good to rat' as their DPS is rather low (the Jaguar in particular), but they do have the advantage that you can easily rat in a PvP-fitted Jaguar with no issues. You may want to rat with a few friends as the DPS increase will help.
In PvP your primary job is to grab the hostiles and keep them locked down with your scrambler. A lot of people that fight in Providence will be in fast-moving HACs that are set up to kill ratting Battleships and whatnot. Be prepared to die a lot when you are new to the whole thing, fast-moving HAC gangs in Providence are usually more experienced than you and the people you will be flying with. Be sure to have a tab that lets you see hostile drones, you will need to kill them fast as they will rip you to shreds (and can track you unlike the HACs if you are orbiting them at 500).
Good luck out there! ___________________
