Too many MMORPGs coming out to decide. Think I'll play each of them for the free month, then cancel and move to the next. Who knows what I'll stick with, after trying all the ones I'm interested in, almost six months from now.

Why not? Sure, it's pathetic when that's how all female characters look, but to add a few options like that? Why the hell not? A cartoon thong really offends you?

Think the real reason they do it is because they think its fun, probably even just to do the artwork on. It's not like they need to do it for any sort of marketting reasons at all.
Now that new Ryzom banner ad over on the IGN boards, otoh.. I think that might be marketting :p
