My question is: I got several hundert "Elite Laser Pistols" in my hangars and have no idea what they are good for. Could anybody enlighten me what their purpose and estimated value is. You give them to the "homeless people" living in your hangers and they become "militants" which you then put into cargo containers and tractor them into opposing players space and whip them into the planets. Once done you get sov and win the game. So Elite laser guns are extremely important to all the 0.0 alliances, and they are the ones buying them.
What you should do is hoard your laser guns and and your homeless and launch an attack on 0.0 when they least expect it. -Jin Nib Trading on behalf of Opera Noir since: 2009.03.02 03:53:00

Server side lag aside, adding motion to none-ship entities would be WIN.
Of course, popping a nanoed ship and seeing the wreck skate off faster than you could catch it, while realistic, would be pretty damn annoying.

Hi 3B1l*****,
"Elite Laser Pistols" don't have an entry in the Market (or at least not one I could find) but you can find them on Contracts. My guess is that these items are related to the COSMOS mission chains. Since most of the Contracts are located in Khador region, my guess is that they're tied into an Amarrian COSMOS mission.

Hoard them until Dust launches, when they'll suddenly become 5000% more valuable.

Thanx for you replies folks. ;) So if i understood that right, at the moment there is no need to have that kind of commodities laying around in my hangars and there "maybe" a use for it when the next big update launches. As when i look into the CCP-Dictionary "maybe" is translated with "what the hell is your problem, wait for the next, next, next addon and stfu"
Any further information is appreciated.
