6 months have passed since I released "The Rocket Wizardry" and I suspect some of you might be expecting a really epic vid now, but unfortunately EVE wasn't that generous in sharing awesome fights with me. Though there are still a couple of memorable moments. Most of the stuff I've recorded looked like simple ganks, be it me killing 4-5-14 ships in succession or those 4-9 dudes blowing up my NH. Some of the fights in the movie still might look that way, but believe it or not I did cut a lot of stuff which might look nice at killboards, but yet doesn't meet my criteria...
I'd like to pay a tribute to all the people sending me encouraging mails and those giving the feedback at forums. Thank you guys, you really make all this meaningful.
My special thanks go for: Endless Subversion, ImPerfect, Fulminate, Templar Butan, Quorthon Seth, Holy Cheater.

fun vid all in all, especially the miner I on the nh, tbh you should give me a call when you see these gangs in ami/ruchy/gyerzen/tesh so I can help you plough through them with my tempest/guardian combo of lols

How's the tengu compare to the NH for what you do?
Some pros, some cons. All in all, tengu is better (mostly cause of EW issues), but at the same time it takes more isk to fit one properly and I believe it's even harder to get a 'fair' fight with one than with the NH.
It's mostly my speculation, though, as I've used the tengu only 3 times so far, one being shown in the movie

I laughed a lot during this vid, too bad you went for the t3, the miner might have invited you to fly with his fleet out in nullsec, the rewards dosn't seem comparable!
But please do note that they lost an Orca plus 2 Hulks, so I prolly should be glad already for not being billed ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

I'm torn. Some of the editing and funny stuff was really good and it took up the tempo a bit however I felt the fights, in general, was quite boring. It just took too long. That being said I see why this is the case and your piloting is very good and make it look a bit easier than it actually is.
A good thing was that you added some info to the fights to know what was going on, that is always nice thing to do.
Next time, up the tempo a bit and it shall be really good.
Music was a bit unusual and even though I can appreciate Queen I'm not sure it suits EVE. :)
Cheers, Lowa

Mostly manual as I usually have quite a lot of people shooting/chasing me. 'Keep at range' works at 1 on 1 and/or versus battleships, otherwise it's a very risky and rough way to do things ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Zymurgist |

Well you sir are a master at it, I will keep practicing :). Any plans to release another video in the future displaying more Caldari solo pvp action with different ships? Thanks :)
I can't promise any solo action soon simply cause I enjoy my brand new Claymore dual-boxing so much :) If you don't mind me dual-boxing... Tengu looks nice (its stats, not the hull itself!), may be I'll manage to get something decent out of it, but that definitely won't happen soon. May be soonÖ at best.
Others like their HAM Drake, but I personally find it utterly boring. HML Drake on the other hand is just a subpar Nighthawk, so no point in using it whatsoever, unless you really insist on PvPing for profit. And I'm not sure whether you can active tank it. Cerberus lacks firepower I need and you can't really active tank it effectively either, which in turn automatically takes away a lot of fun.
Any other ship is either too heavy to be piloted properly (and crawling is boring) or too small to be a major threat.
All in all, there are several capable ships in Caldari State (Crystal Raven is a nice cheap PvP boat, too - you can get a decent tank even with tech2 mods and the firepower is really great), but I just don't feel like toying with them much at the moment ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. One of my most enjoyed vids in a long time. And for me (being old) the speed was perfect. I would not have liked it sped up more because I liked to watch the little intricacies of what your opponents were trying to do and what you were doing. No disrespect at all to Lowa who certainly has a much faster combat reflex analysis than I do, but if it had been sped up more I would have been skipping back constantly to recheck what I saw, which would have also detracted from the excellent soundtrack.
Anyway bravo for a very entertaining combination of fun fights, funny stuff, the little details and good tunes.

The first one was beautiful and this more than lives up to expectations. What it lacks in fast-paced explosions it makes up for in the elegance of the way you fly and your production really enhances that. The Claymore alt is completely unobtrusive and considering the fights that you're picking is hardly a cheap trick. More please! Its always nice to see less-used ships in action.

Kind of, yes :)
The further you get, the harder it is to progress. And it definitely takes more time to make a next step as well, so I don't expect to have my new vid finished anytime soon.
I've got a couple of decent NH and Tengu fights, though.

Considering the numbers I fight against, pretty much yeah. And that's exactly the reason why I don't get those 'epic' fights when you see someone with a bleeding structure etc. and why some people think there's very little risk involved - since once I'm tackled it all ends pretty much in 10 seconds. And if I'm not - well, that's what the vid is all about
CCP moarned on the 'zone of death' of 90% webbers of the past and yet they implemented the same thing with these new scrambles. I find it funny. Scrambers should reduce the MWD efficiency, that's right, but why should it be an ultimate 100% reduction?.. ---[center] Please resize your signature to the maximum file size of 24000 bytes. Well I am, but not only that - dramatic classical music a'la the one in Day of Darkness II, Ambient music, or some other types are the ones I find to match the futuristic space sci-fi combat more.

personally i think the folk-metal (or whatever its called) is a great choice... especially for the solo hero entry style video :P

god i hate that club/electro crap...
Tengu should deffo be better for this i think, faster, more agile, smaller sig. How does it effect finding fights though, more or less willing to engage? -sig- Support the introduction of Blaze crystals for Amarr!

obvious answer is obvious.
depends on the gang, both their make-up and experience.
overall though I'd say more willing, due to the "OMG L33T KB PADDING" effect. wut |

While I love the Tengu, if you can pilot the NH as well as the movies show, the NH is actually better, due to explosion velocity + drones, it can actually fend off small targets many times easier then a tengu can. _________________ --- Snatch Victory - Rivqua - Omega Wing ---
