since dominion release mthee have been problems with the API. it seems 99% certain that ccp broke something. it's been a week now, no acknowledgement from ccp that there is even a problem, let alone a timescale to fix it.
the api is now an important apect of the game, and is going to get increasingly important in the near future for ccp's plans.
I (we?) expect better of you (ccp).
fess up and give us timescale on fixing the problem: please.

There are way more things broken atm and API never had any priority so you probably can wait quite a long time getting this fixed.

Honestly I'm not having any problems with the API. It's still updating POS fuel levels, the queue of jobs, wallet/journal info, etc. My # of players online seems to be stuck but I think that's just on my end since eve-mon still gets the #.

This is not an adequate excuse.
It takes a Dev maybe 5 minutes to write a post saying: "Yes, we're working on it, we think so and so is the problem, and it'll be fixed in so and so hours/days/weeks. We'll update you every day or so on our progress, and anything you can do to help us speed it along (other than submitting bug reports)".
I'm sure the dev team is keeping their own bosses updated on their progress - you don't just send a team into a room and tell them to fix a problem, and don't talk to anyone until it's done. If you can update your boss, you can certainly update your customers. That's the basics of customer service.
All that being said, I don't give a **** about the API issues; I'm more concerned about the whole "not being able to log in and play the game properly" issue - which they also haven't updated us on.
I honestly hate to make a whining post like this, and I think CCP has done a great job with this game, but I would appreciate some word from them regarding the various issues that have arisen from the patch. I'm not really all that upset about the problem(s) itself (I understand this stuff happens with a game this big), but the lack of response from CCP is disappointing.
