When I equip my dmg modifier to my ship the dmg under the info of the weapons does not change. Is this normal? No matter what type of dmg modifier I equip my weapon stats stay the same. Does it actually add to the dmg of the gun, but just doesn't update under the information? I'm currently using railguns and particle accelerators.

Try relogging. Write your numbers down so you dont forget them. Try undocking/redocking too, sometimes its just messed up. As a last resort delete that cache file that seems to have so many problems.

when in fittings screen rt click ur weapon, it should show up there, also when in space u can do a show info on ship ui, bottom center, where u see ammo/weapons displayed. ;)

just a minor glith in the refresh of some screen numbers.
some update some don't, real weird, but i always strip my ship and do a complete refit (cause the cap/cpu usage does not correctly update either).

For the new damage figures to be updated, the weapon(s) it affects need to be taken off and refitted to your ship.

I am pretty sure I've tried all of the suggestions here, but I will try again tonight and see if it changes. Thanks for all the responses.

I'm just about 100% sure I have the right item. I'm at work now so I don't have the names, but they used to update. I did try the cache clearing, logging off, unequipping and that didn't help. I will post the items when I get home.

Ya, deleting the cache should work. This has happened to me several times, and rebooting my computer has always solved the problem. Havent tried refitting the weapon, but that may work as well.

I had to take the weapons off and repackage them and the ship to get it to update correctly once. I got a very strange error when I repackaged the ship then everything worked correctly.

Well I noticed this weekend that the dmg on a 125mm gauss railgun changed when I added the modifier, but the 150mm Railgun doesn't change from 3x. I'll try that repackaging bit.
