Since Dominion (also after 1.0.2 patch) Jukebox stops playing (I'm using the default EVE music tracks).
Apparently this happens randomly. Sometimes it only plays the first track, sometimes only the first two or three tracks.
I'm trying to see if there's a pattern as to when it stops playing.
Anyone with the same problem? ----- BK |

Myself and a couple other people I know have also had this issue. It's most likely a bug. CCP will fix it eventually... (By the next expansion probably...)

Yeah, I got the same issue. I just guess it's a "feature". I've lost hope regarding their sound department :S

I've got it too. Maybe they will get it to work properly at some point, but until then it's better use out of game programs.

Please file a bug report about this here.
Any and all data you can provide would be helpful, for an example we need to know what OS you are running and whether any specific action in game makes the song change like jumping or activating an acceleration gate. ------------------

Juke box does not stop if you start it .. but does not start either. It seems to forget which directory to play from.
I did file a bug report and it has been "filtered"...what does that actually mean "Ozone is blue and smells faintly of geraniums." (Qi, BBC TV) |

I added a few custom tracks to the Jukebox, it does not play automatically as it used to, manually playing custom tracks will automatically make the jukebox play the next song in the list when the custom track has finished if it is NOT a custom track, but it will only play one then stop again awaiting manual restart.
This is the only discernable pattern I can find, it also resets to the default (none) playlist each time I log in, the directory has to be re-entered.
Not submitting a bug report as this is a widespread problem, and I pay to play the game not to test it.
There is also seemingly strong limitations on the songs it will recognise, but I cannot figure out what these limitations are.
All in all with the lack of documentation, no ability to organise tracks and the plethora of problems faced by everyone. I cant help but feel the Jukebox update was rushed for this expansion and would much prefered that it was worked on and tested alot more before been released. |

I'd file a report except all it would say is that it sometimes stops playing. I've also gotten used to using out-of-game programs for everything, that have more functionality and are easier to use than in-game ones, so it really doesn't matter to me. Was posting just to say the OP isn't alone with the issue.

It'll do this if you're sitting in station doing absolutely nothing (and by absolutely nothing, I mean AFK).
When you get around to fixing it, please make the jukebox start upon client load like it used to as well. Thanks.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. EVE has devs that care about sound? (Ha ha ha! Gotcha. It actually doesn't!) |
