The story begins in Providence, and I'm roaming about in my cheapfit Dual-propulsion Taranis. So far the night was uneventful, with most systems empty at such a late time in the US timezone. Upon entering TA3T, I catch a glimmer of hope - there is a Harbinger on the directional scanner!
Eager for a kill, I quickly narrow down the scanner and find his belt. I warp to it at 0, and I find myself dismayed: the Harbinger was 100km away from the warp-in point, and was aligned out at speed. Figuring it not worth the time, I prepare myself to warp off to continue hunting...
But I quickly learn that I wasn't the only local hunting for this particular Harbinger - a Loki decloaks right on top of me at the asteroid belt's warp in! I frantically cancel warp, and out of impulse I tackle the shiny T3 ship. He wasn't a Provi pet, so I figured I wouldn't have to worry about the Harbinger, still minding its own business 100km+ away.
It isn't long before the Loki gets a counter tackle, and my humble Taranis finds itself ensnared by double webs! But I feared not, for my Cold-gas afterburner let me out speed him by a blazing 70 m/s!
The Loki, unsure about its predicament, starts burning away in a straight line as fast as it can, but my J5b Prototype Warp Ccrambler is more than a match for its propulsion drives!
A fault in my plan is quickly revealed, and as he slowboats away, my automatic orbit starts losing transversal, and he begins to strike me with his fearsome 220mm Vulcan Autocannons. My shields begins to melt, and I kick my afterburner into overdrive, bringing me back up to speed and catching up with the unfortunate Loki.
Seeing as how the manual orbit would not serve me well, I began using clever evasive maneuvering around the Loki, manually flying in a corkscrew pattern as to always keep myself at a reasonable transversal velocity.
All the while, my light Neutron blasters are chipping away at its shields, and my trusty Warrior IIs are doing their best to contribute.
A few minutes pass, and probably much to the Loki pilot's frustration, he explodes:

But the story does not end there! I quickly loot the wreck for a disappointing amount of faction modules (one), and I notice that the harbinger that had brought us both here was still there, 130km away, ratting.
I burn to him and kill him, but not before he yells "wait" in local. Then I pod him.
And then I loot a True Sansha Medium Armor Repairer from a True Sansha cruiser wreck in the very belt.
And then I kill the 7M bounty True Sansha battleship the Harbinger was so intently trying to kill, and loot it for a True Sansha Warp Scrambler.
Happy in the pants.
