The short version:
Founded in 2005, The Praxis Initiative is back and recruiting mature, competent pilots of all experience levels. Building on the extensive experience of veteran pilots, our goal is a large friendly membership to take part in a variety of operations around the clock (US, NA, and AU). PvP, Missions, Mining, and Exploration (Wormholes).
Join us in the the PRAX channel in-game.
Voice Required: You will need to be on Voice for participation in all operations with corpmates. Additionally we do most of socializing/etc on voice so if you can't participate on voice consistently you may end up feeling excluded.
Experience: We accept pilots of all experience levels. Our membership includes long-time veterans and those that have recently returned after a long absence.
Participation: Group operations are not mandatory as corp procedures are designed such that there is little opportunity to 'freeload', but you are expected to be a mature 'team player' in a more general sense. Spending time off on your own soloing agent missions or similar is perfectly fine. Just remember that the whole point of a corporation in EVE is contributing to a larger group. If you primarily solo do not expect much out of the group.
Operations: It is our goal to have extremely well organized operations, in all our enterprises. Including Exploration (Wormhole space), Missions, Mining, and Combat operations.
Maturity: We do not try to enforce a minimum age requirement. We do require that members act maturely and respectfully to others in and out of the corp, regardless of age.
Conduct: All members are expected to conduct themselves with dignity at all times. This applies to both interaction with other members of the corporation and contact with members of other corporations, even enemies. No smacktalk, no undue cursing, etc. It's not expected to keep everything G-Rated, but nothing gratuitous.
Courtesy: We expect that you appreciate the great diversity of people from all over the world that you will encounter in EVE, and are members of our corp. Remember that comments that may be well received and perfectly humorous in your usual circle of friends can be extremely offensive to others in the corp (even, or <i>especially</i>, when no offense is meant). Topics of conversation will always wander, but it is asked of all members to keep as focused on our one certainly common interest: EVE.

This corporation is fantastic. I'm a new player to the world of EVE, and they've been absolutely wonderful to work with. We're ramping up now with standings and prepartion for wormhole expeditions, among other things. Above all they're fun, always helpful, and just plain nice. Check them out!

Praxis is without a doubt the best corp I've been in.
If you're looking for a well run corp with good players and solid leadership that doesn't tolerate idiots, you should join!
An extra bonus is that there are plenty of Aussies on before and after DT.

I am a newer player to EVE and this corp has been just great! Both new and experienced players that go out of their way to help you. Many active players so there is always something to do! Come join the fun and grow with us!

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about this thread.
The top post is somewhat out of date. We've been living in Nulsec for several months now, as one of six member corps of Sodalitas XX <0RDR>, which holds a constellation in 'new' Providence.
We still accept relatively new players that show sufficient enthusiasm and aptitude.
The best way to get involved is still simply joining our in-game public channel PRAX and chatting with the corp members and other regulars. Though be patient, as we're often enough occupied with other things.

I joined The Praxis Initiative just over a month ago and I could not be happier with a corporation. Every day I am impressed with the level of competence and professionalism demonstrated by its members.

So... I have been with the corp for a little over two weeks now and I must say this is the best thing I have seen in eve so far In my clone life.
Things I have noticed:
Excellent information. the knowledge base provided by corp members can be overwhelming at times but the content of that knowledge has in 2 weeks made me a better pilot (not perfect) but much better.
Comms: I will admit when I first was accepted I was taken back by the strict comms requirements set forth by the corp. Headset, audio quality etc etc... I can firmly say today after flying and seeing prax comms compared to other comms in NC and former corps I have been apart of , I can say prax has set the bar high and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Fleet: iv flown now with a couple of the ops put up by NC and iv flown with our corp fleet ops. And I will say its like black and white with prax (once again) setting the bar high on team work, Intel, comms and rapid lethality. I wait, sitting on the edge of my seat for our corp fleets cause I know and trust that I'm in good hands.
So in closing I would have to give The Praxis Initiative 10/10 on my report. I never thought there could be this level of organization in a game and I'm happy to have been accepted to experience it.
So to refer to an alternate thread....
Prax is why I log on and Prax keeps me logging in.

Been with Prax for 2 months. I am having more fun in Eve now than in the whole 2.5 years I have been playing. Amazing group of people and you will learn alot. Isk potential is very high.
In short, amazing group of people to play with... If you want to be a part of the "butterfly effect" instead of just dreaming about it, join Prax.

I have been with Prax for a few months now and have been pleasantly suprised with the level of professionalism and general aptitude of the Prax leadership as well as the general membership. Speaking from personal experience i must say that this is by far one of the best corps I have yet to find in null sec. If you like flying with other pvpers that act professionally and know how to do their specific job then plop yourself into the PRAX public channel and have a chat with the guys you see there.
