Yes, im gonna be buliding a Carcal , and possibly a blackbird, does anyone have tips for getting the 300k of tritanium i need?(i have all the other materials)

umm.. buy it, mine it, hunt npc's and recycle... ask someone for it, beg for it, offer your services to someone for trit... cant think of anything more, help me out here someone

If you're going to be mining for the rest of your minerals (or at least most of them) don't worry about the Tritanium until the end. The other ores will give you Tritanium as you collect your other minerals and you can just mine some Veldspar or Scordite at the end to make up the difference. |

i only need 40k pyerite ,which i can get from my corp/friends, in addition to the tritanium. I decided to buy like 1-3million trit, since i make scourges,hammerheads,kessies ,and my 2 hammerheads ,and to help my corp.

Recycle all that dropped loot from bad guys. Scanners and the like give off lots of tritanium. And you're doing your part to keep your system clean of cargo container debris.

yea when i go hit up the T spawn, my corp mates clean up all the cargo containers. Sometimes youll get some nice loot, praetors, Xr-3200 Heavy Missile Launchers. Im currently at 157k trit, but if someones corp ,or a individual is selling tritanium in bulk Itd be great. Evemail if your interested.

Right now, refining a full jetcan of Scordite (45 minutes of mining) nets me a bit over 458k Tritanium and 228k Pyerite... Come out to Illinfrik and I'll sell you what you need - it usually runs about 2.2 mil or so for a full jetcan's worth.
If you just need Tritanium, I'm getting 825k of it out of a full can of Veldspar, and it'll be about 1.8 mil for the full load.

I will give you one advice: Dont build BBs - The profit is one of the worst amongst cruisers along with thoraxx

That's a hard question to answer really - retail prices on cruisers vary widely from region to region... wherever you look at it tho, the profit on a teir 3 cruiser is roughly 2 mil, and the rest are all over the map profitwise - I've seen Caracals for 3.5m, and I've seen them for 5m - it's just up to the person who's selling them, and what the competition is selling them for.
Base ore cost to build them is as follows tho:
(PE 5, ME 10 - ore prices from Pator as of last Thursday)
