So, the little stabber has a 5m^3 drone bay...whats the general consensus, to carry a warrior II or an ECM drone?

I'd go with a warrior - partly because the chance of a single ECM drone jamming anything are really slim while the warrior will definitely do damage; partly because with most Stabber concept you should be able to rely on your speed to GTFO rather than needing ECM to break a scram + web; and partly because with only one drone, the enemy is going to be able to attack them (it) quite effectively so the extra HP of a combat drone would buy you a couple more seconds of not being shot + damage on the target.

I think if the stabber traded 1 high slot for a drone bay that could field 5 light drones that would help the ship out quite a bit.
or -1 high and + 1 med or low
but it is still a fun ship to fly

its supposed to hold a warrior drone. The stabber makes an excellent ninja ship. If you havent looted yet sometimes the bear will shoot you- you use the single drone to ***** onto killmails.

Maybe a small neut drone would help?
May sound weird but it might help to reduce an enemy frig's MWDing cap stability.
If you're going for pure damage get a Hobgoblin, a single Warrior isn't going to scare any Inty/Frig.

A Neutralizer or tracking disruptor drone maybe?
I usually just shove a hobo in there and some day I will remember to launch it......

put in a mining drone for the lulz, and launch it often.. tbh ive often thought tracking disrupt drone or neut drone, it might not actually be effective but hey its a single drone what can you expect.

interesting.
light ECM drone has a jam strength of 1.
frigs/cruisers have around 8-14 sensor strength.
so thats like 1/8-1/14 chance of a jam. not very high.
lower for BCs, Recons and BS, which have higher sensor strength.
light neut drone drains 5 cap, and cycle time is 6, whatever that means.
doesn't sound like much compared to 400-600 size of frigate cap batteries.
less than nothing compared to cruiser and larger cap.
eh, so warrior II i guess.

 exactly why i want ecm drones to be heavy size only . your in a domi neuting a stabber then boom , your lock drops , he warps and you see 1 ligth ecm drone left in space  .
im just curious why small and medium ecm drones are ok but not web ones .
imagine having 5 small web drones on your vaga (even if the speed penalty is crap) it would be sooooo cool .
small and medium size ecm drones are killing 1vs1 figths

How long is a jam cycle for an ECM drone anyway?
I mean how long does a successful jam last.
And how often does the roll for jamming take place?
once a minute?
