Edited by: Alexander Universe on 13/12/2009 13:32:02 Edited by: Alexander Universe on 13/12/2009 13:31:28 I think its good to give others a heads-up and make it a bit harder for them to do this again.
I always search forums and killboards the best I can for info on each new recruit but I failed to find what I should have this time. Or there just wasn't anything mentioned anywhere.
I recruited Cambarus. He has skills to fly almost all subcap ships and long employment history and that did catch my eye. But after finding nothing else fishy about him, I just took the leap of faith.
Wormhole corps are easy pickings for corp thieves and so were we. Less than day after accepting him, Cambarus with his friends (noted in the subject) pretty much emptied our ship maintanence array in our WH POS. They got some nice iskies I must say.
Ofcourse I learned a lot from this and we are changing how we handle access to stuff at POS.
The stuff lost is nothing we couldn't replace after just 1 or 2 good evening(s) of slaughtering sleepers
TL;DR - Think twice before doing business with Cambarus, Muhney, Nalesh or Dephar Arcarnum.

Thank you for heads up ...... but
If you always searched the forums about corp thieves as you have claimed you do then probably the first advise that you would notice is to never give access to someone who have been in your corp for a day...
But hopefully lesson was learned.

I must say I'm impressed with the level of not-being-a-whiny-***** from these guys, unusual for a carebear corp, GG guys.
Oh and muhney wasn't actually with us, we had a few of the ships stolen from us while we were moving them, him and 2 others snagged a few (I'll look in my chat logs, one of them commented in local and his name was jade something or other) Sadly we lost like 6 ships this way because some of our guys had to go (there were also a few you missed, but they were mostly people who just wanted in for the lulz and only got like one ship.
Me and my main partner in this (amusingly enough ANOTHER guy you seem to have missed :P) walked away with a more than decent haul:

Edited by: Dephar Arcarnum on 13/12/2009 17:41:44 Just to clarify I have spoken to the ceo of universal mayhem clearing my name and muhneys, what happened was I was invited into the convo after, as all goes I laughed at the fits and was quite amused by them, I didnt expect the level of hostility from my alliance leaders and ceo from even being in such a convo but it has been misinterpreted and has led to this, all has been cleared for me and muhney, apologies for the confusion
I do know cambarus however he is a friend of mine but I do not partake in any of his actions due to our rules of engagement

I was invited to the public channel during the aftermath. Found several of the ships left in a safespot, apparently they didn't have the man power. Thievery from a corp thief, owned.

I would never to do that to my boys but nice work the targets fail security policy. what i though was odd is when you said this "The stuff lost is nothing we couldn't replace after just 1 or 2 good evening(s) of slaughtering sleepers". If thats the case then why report this i would trust most of the people that read this forum know how to keep there items safe.

Dephar Arcarnum has contacted me explaining he was not involved in the theft.
According to his words: Neither him or his friend Myhney was involved in the theft. They both found out about it after the theft had been done from Cambarus. However at least Dephar knows Cambarus well, so you can draw your own conclusions from here.
Since I have not heard a word about Dephar actually helping Cambarus in any way other than being an asshat in chatchannels after the theft, I agreed to change my orginial post.
I'm no longer going to label Dephnar and Muhney as corp thieves.
I got some more information, which is that Defialed did help Cambarus, so he got his name to the subject.

Do you really think it'd be better for other people not to know about these certain people being corp thieves? Its not about if we need others to know. I would appriciate any CEO having this happen in some way also make a post here so others would know better to prevent it.
This also is one of the things we can do the kind of get our payback to these people :)

You guys seem to have a lot of criticism towards our ship setups. Do you have any idea what they were used for? Its not mining by the way ;)
Just link some setups and tell everybody whats wrong about them ... that is if you are that tough as you try seem.
I'm amazed how much information and traces were left by the thieves. Even tho I have no experience is spying or stuff with what The Mittani deals with, I was till able to find out about so many people involved in this. Good corp thief would've emptied our corp hangar array aswell and gotten away without me having anybody to blame than his one character. I consider us lucky on that part.

Edited by: Cambarus on 13/12/2009 21:15:03 Well I've sold off the ships so I can't give exact fittings, but I can confirm that one of the pests had a bunch of cap rechargers and cap power relays, and CCCs, when the only cap using mod on the ship was ONE large armor RR and a target painter ^_^
There was also a phoon that had 2 1200 arties fit...along with four HEAVY missile launchers >_<
IIRC the navy pest had a CCC, a trimark and an ewar rig of some sort...
Edit: and for the record, we didn't really make any attempts to hide our identities, so =P |

I can confirm we have new players in corp who can barely run C3 sleeper sites. :)
The fleet pest had no ewar rig, it had a Large Remote Repair Augmentor in addition to CCC and Trimark. Very good fit actually if you'd know how sleeper sites are best to run. Well ... as good as minmatar can do.

It's more fun to leave your name when you do a crime, I could easily have shot the shuttles and wrecks on the way out, but then you'd whine less, though I kinda stole the picture here a bit though, since there were more people than me and cam helping, mainly since neither of us can fly hulks.

You know that old saying, "Don't fly what you can't afford to lose?" Here's another one: "Don't let corp mates fly what you can't afford to lose."
That'll be 1M ISK for my services, please. Thank you.
