Thanks for the bids (and compliments), guys, keep 'em coming.
On the disruptors and dampeners, a quick reminder that the min bid is 100m. You're welcome to bid less than that, but I obviously reserve the right not to sell.

Do you mean 100M for the bunch or 100M a piece?
If 100M for the bunch consider this a bid for 100M for the bunch? 16 items correct? It comes down to 6.25M a piece then.

Are those BMs come with or without capsule in those systems (or jump clone or egg or what ever you want to call it)? Is it posible to go there anyway? ... I would have 1.001 more question about this BMs, but I want to know if it is possible to go there and get back to regular EVE space and how many times? Or else how the hell did you got those BMs anyway??? If it is posible to go there ... well I would defenetly bid.

Ah, so it is. Is that for the bunch or for each one? I suppose it's a moot point, as that is too much to pay for mods that I actually planned on using in PvP (better damps on my purifier, better TD's on my sentinel).

As far as I am aware, there is, categorically, no game mechanic by means of which one can currently reach Jovian space.

Given that there haven't been any bids for over a week now, can you give us some indication of when the auction will end? If its going to go on indefinitely, I'm afraid me and my alts will have to withdraw our bids. I want some of this stuff quite a lot but I can't leave the cash lying idle for months (I really wanted them as Christmas presents but that has been and gone a while back now). Alternatively, could you set buyout prices for the items?

Hemmo, your bid on the book was not valid, as bid increment is 10% of the previous bid.
As to auction length:
Originally by: Pilk Auction continues as long as there's interest or until a buyout offer is accepted. All sales final, no refunds or rain checks.
I would suggest u a)put a closing date b)close the thread c)get reported You choice until people will pick c for you.

Since I can't keep track of whatever just happened and it's not really my place to, I offer the minimum allowed bid increase on the prices offered on everything. If the auctioneer could confirm what my bid just was it'd be appreciated. -----

All,
Please accept my apologies; I was preparing for an out-of-town event that sapped all my free time.
We'll wrap up the auction 2010-01-15 at 20:00 EVE time. I'll post a bid summary next, so everyone knows where the bids stand at that point.

Here's the bid history up to now. I've ignored bids that are below minima, except when they also generate a valid bid or two.
Hemmo Paskiainen: Astro 100m Hemmo Paskiainen: Refin 100m Kenraali: Astro 500m evil's toy: Astro 600m Kenraali: Astro 660m evil's toy: Astro 726m Chribba: 16.7m per BM squiggly12: 33.3m per BM jnb: Astro 800m evil's toy: Astro 900m jnb: 36.7m per BM Hemmo Paskiainen: Astro 990m bucktooth: Refin 150m evil's toy: (retract) Hemmo Paskiainen: (retract) Tuborg: Refin 200m Samuel: BM#1 50m ArtemisSDS: BM#3 55m Jita Chiquita: BM#2 50m (was 50m per BM, but two bids didn't qualify) PsyberDeviant: BM#1 100m Turiel Demon: Refin 300m Turiel Demon: BM#2 66.7m Turiel Demon: BM#3 66.7m (was 66.7m per BM, but one bid didn't qualify) Synvaat: Refin 400m bucktooth: Refin 440m Synvaat: Refin 500m Imiarr Timshae: (min increase on all)
(Since there were no qualifying bids for the damps or disruptors, I elected to interpret Imiarr's bid as a minbid on those, to give him maximum flexibility. The flipside is, he's perfectly welcome to retract those bids/refuse those items should he elect to do so, even after the auction completes.)
As of === THIS POINT ===
the following are the high bids: 'Executive' Damps: Imiarr Timshae, 100m per unit 'Investor' Disruptors: Imiarr Timshae, 100m per unit Mobile Refinery Operation: Imiarr Timshae, 550m Astronautic Engineering: Imiarr Timshae, 880m BM#1, RU-97T: Imiarr Timshae, 110m BM#2, UA7-U4: Imiarr Timshae, 73.3m BM#3, RB-2EA: Imiarr Timshae, 73.3m

:/ So with close to two weeks of no bids, the auction both doesn't come to an end and you take more bids? I can't speak for every previous top bidder, but I can't help but feel cheated.

Yeah - this started out as a great auction but sadly didn't end that way. Although I wasn't bidding on them, I was particularly unimpressed by the way the OP "elected" to take the last guys bids in such a way as to push prices up on certain items but without holding him to actually buying those things. Tbh, if someone posted a bid like that in something I ran, I would have just discounted it. Also the stuff about ignoring invalid bids except where they pushed other bids up is pretty dodgy. Pretty disappointing, all in all.
That's not to say I won't bid again before the end date though .

Actually, I specifically considered retracted bids as not having been made when determining Imiarr's bid amounts. Was there something I could have done better? I'm open to suggestions.
As far as how I dealt with the modules, none of the bids that had been made met my reserve of 100m per item. Had someone already bid 100m per item, I would have declared Imiarr's bid at 110m; since nobody had bid even the minimum, I set them at the minimum at which I am willing to sell, but without being able to know his intention, I chose the bidding option that gave him maximum flexibility in keeping the items while not committing him to a purchase that he may not have intended to make. Again, if there's a better way to handle this, tell me.

Well, as I said, when people post "I take everything" in my threads, as they tend to at least once a thread, unless they actually give numbers or ask me to get in contact I write them off as trolls. That said, the stuff in this auction is truly epic and I apologise if I let my frustration get the better of me in the last post. If you're fine with this method of bidding (not a troll), I'll put the minimum in for each of the bookmarks please.
