Seems like the best plan here is to make 4 alts and keep at the bottom of the bidding until the people who aren't planning to scam are run off. Of course, that runs the risk (if another person is doing the same thing) of reducing the expected yield of the scam to extraordinarily low amounts.
tl;dr I would be shocked to see you get anywhere near 12 Plex at the end of the month.

Works almost as well with one. I'll be the first to admit that I don't pay too much attention to MD, so I have no idea what the current winners histories are (clearly not known scammers).

See, this is not GD. People here are subtler than that.
It's much more possible that someone are underbidding to make the others end up losing more money (translated: get worse loan vs interest to return) than Estel having 4 alts.

Sorry, I didn't mean Estel would have alts. I meant that someone else would use alts to try to take the money and run.

Oh wow... I have never been judged so fast (oh wait - I have been). So you see why I don't like to post on MD?
And I have many posts on Character Bazaar? I guess I made a few bids and I think I have bought 3 or 4 characters in my ~5 years playing the game and I have sold two.
But anyway, I retract my bid for the Plex. I don't want to be apart of your venture any more. I have also sent you 50M ISK. Consider it a friendly donation to offset your losses in case you don't get all the PLEXes back.
I'll just go hide under a rock again (with my 'many' alts). I guess since I have 3 accounts nowadays that's a crime on MD?
