Yet this does not work in shiva yet. Its not been emplimented and I doubt it ever will be. No where in the shiva update page does it specifically say that JET cans will cause a flag. I think the whole "shiva will give us vengence" bull**** was started by some ****y girlscout strip miner who got his ore taken one to many times. 2 weeks and we will see who's still laughing.

Sure thing dude, as soon as they sell secure cans with 27,500 m3 of volume, I'll be first in line to get some...
The ones they sell now are a joke, a slap in the face to serious miners...
They are as pathetic as your response was to the original post...
Lets use your little brain for one second and try and figure out WHY jet cans are as big as they are.

The size and anchoring restrictions on giant secures make them unusable to me.
I can fill one up in less than 3 minutes on my ops, they are useless...
If they worked so damn well guys, ore thieves would be out of buisness...
Guess what, they don't work, hence we still have the ore thief problem...
CCP will fix it someday, like they have all the other exploits griefers have utilized in the past...
I have confidence CCP will take care of this in the near future.
It's a black eye on CCP, especially when new players are getting harrassed by this exploit...
Exodus is a fresh start for CCP, a true chance to add more subscriptions to the game, they must get rid of this rediculous exploit once and for all... It's gone on way to long, and the forum pizzing contests over the exploit are getting tiring...
God, I want to be there when CCP ****es all over your little dream and you start to break down and cry. It will be the moment of moments.

Quote: The regular containers were designed to jettison unwanted items into space or to hold loot from blown up ships. They were designed so that any player could take from them because that was essential for them to function as they were intended. Players later invented the "container mining" method after noticing that the containers could hold way more than any cargo hold. This use for the containers was never intended and it has the obvious flaw that any player with a reduced sense of right and wrong can come by and take everything from the container and no one can do anything about it. This risk should be known to all players and there will be no reimbursement for ore lost this way. Also, ore "theft" is not considered harassment so no punishment will be dealt out to those who choose to "steal". Players who are thinking of taking up a career as ore thiefs should note that they will face a lifetime of unpopularity and unhappiness as a result. CCP has decided to meet players halfway by implementing secure containers that can be bought on the market and have the advantage of being equipped with a password lock. These containers cost money and do not hold the vast amount of ore that the regular containers do. However, with good organization and frequent ore pickups using Industrial ships, they can be very useful for large scale mining operations. The bottom line is: If you use regular containers to store your ore you assume all the risk. Having your valuables floating in space in an unsecured container is equivalent to throwing money on the street. Should you lurk nearby and wait for someone to take the money and then attack him, the police would deal with you, not him. The same goes in Eve. If you attack a player who just took "your" ore from a regular container in a system with a security level of 0.5 or higher. You will be destroyed by Concord.
Thats from the support part of the website cupcake. Ore theft is the counter to what wasnt REALLY intended. That being jet can mining.
Have fun *****ing and moaning come 2 weeks when I am still able to pilfer your ore from you with out a ******* care in the world.

What Bhaal would want is for someone to come knock the wall down, because changing his path would be infringing on his walking "style"

Please PLEASE point out to me where is says JETTED cans will get flags. YOu can't because it doesnt. Did it ever occure to you that maybe they will be flagging Loot cans.....or maybe standards? Until you have HARD evidence (which you will never have) that JET cans will give you a flag I suggest you stop making yourself look like an ASS.

Dude its not going to end as will be shown in 2 weeks with the release of exodus. But I will humor you for the sake of it. Say that flagging does come into play. It wont be this prayer of you get to just blow up anyone that takes your precious little veldspar. They arnt going to put in a one sided non-consenting pvp system in that can be used in highsec space. So we have a system where you are allowed to shot back at a player but he is also able to defend himself. IF and its a big IF this happens guess what.....I go ore theivin in a battleship. It doesnt matter how you want to try and skew the odds in your favor we as a "community" will find a way to use whatever little obsticle you put in front of us against you. People like Bhaal say we exploit the game mechanics but in reality we are only exploiting your lazyness. You are and have always been your own worse enemy.

First, shouldn't a jettisoned container be reduced dramatically in how much it can hold ? Why should a jetcan have a capacity of 27,000 when your cargo hold is probably somewhere around 300 or 400 space ? This size should be brought down to equal the cargo capacity of the ship you are flying.
SO what happens when you have a full hold and then get popped? Does the stuff you had fitted on your ship just disappear? Its a one for all can because they would have to script a hell of alot of version of a jet can and they dont need to be wasting their ******* time doing that.
