I was quite looking forward to Dominion and the whole new way of getting sov, without you having to spend weeks in a single system fighting for 50+ moons.
Dominion then hits and as usual (sorry to say), what CCP comes up with is just a huuuge disappointment. The idea is fine, but the implementation of said idea is just borderline ******ation.
Everyone knows eve is a game of timezones in many many of the wars in our universe. In the past you were able to kite pos's so you could at least get semi usable timer. You could hit at random hours of the day in order to "fool" the stront managers of the opposition.
Now with is being just a set timer, and 2h on either side there is NOTHING you can do as an attacker. No matter what you need to do you need to get up during the night if you want to take make any kind of progress.
I am sorry to say, but feel this is a sad sad way CCP is turning this game.
CCP basically make 100% sure that any alliance with half a brain and not outnumbered 5-1, who are not in the same tz as their opponents, will never lose sov in a single system that has an ihub or station.
Solution?:
Make it random so 50% of the time the ihub/station will come out within 2 hours (as it is now), 35% of the time it will come out within 2-3h, 15% of the time within 3-5h.
This way you have at least SOME chance of having a fight at half a decent time of the day.
I could write a lot more about this but whats the point? If CCP can't see the problems with the current "random multiplier", then whats the point in playing this game if not for lowsec pew pew and missions in empire.....

I actualy have mixed feeling on this change, because look from the other side = defenders stuff gets out of reinforced in 2am their time so they have to sit at nights to defend their pixels (same pain) and apparently they want attacking to be harder than defending.

i am fine with defenders having an advantage, it should be so.
I just want it to be like before where you could kite, or ninja something in the morning etc, to get better timers for yourself.
There needs to be some kinda of chance that the timer is in your favor, which atm is none existing.
Otherwise most times people will just go "why bother hitting this, it will just come out at 3am anyway".

True that. Maybe after every hit it will "decalibrate" so random part will get bigger ? Ie. hit it 3 times and random factor is not 6 hours. Then after every 3 days of not-getting-hit, it would calibrate back.

Thats actually quite a good idea I like that.
First time you hit the station for example it gets out inside 2h. Then if you inside a 3 day "grace period" hit it again the random number added would increase, continuing up to some max point.
You should be able to do this several times in a row so it will multiply.
There needs to be some way for the defenders to stop the continued assaults or it will be to easy for the attackers though.
