I'm glad I'm not Amarrian. Is there any way to replace audio files? Like switching the Amarr station sound for say... Gallente. 
I haven't checked myself because I'm not bored of the sounds in EVE yet, but the info might come useful when I eventually get tired of it. |

The "Broke Sound" feature designed by deaf sound engineers began with Apocrypha, and is working as intended.
Ancient artifacts with melodic earth Gregorian Chant sheet music have yet to be discovered, and the current chanting in Amarr stations is not unlike recordings of Blood Raider rituals (at least the victim part).
Complaints about Eve sound are forwarded to the aformentioned sound engineers, and, you guessed it, fall upon deaf ears.

Sorry, there's not a "Sounds that Ethicos doesn't like" slider. They added a world volume slider and yet people still whine and probably will until each and every individual sound has its own slider.
Why not just mute the world sound or even all sound if it's just a trading alt?

The world volume slider was a great step in the right direction, however the base level on several effects is way out of proportion with other things affected by the same slider. The "station chant" and Sensor Booster effects in particular was much louder than the other sounds in the same category. It would be nice at some point if they either were equalized with other sounds in that category, or a separate control be added (although I have no doubt the latter might be difficult).

Which one? There seem to be two samples. The rare one is more like a faint, melodic humming. I think it's bearable since it's not very loud.
The other one could be used as population control. And probably is. When I visited my parents a couple of weeks ago my mother asked what that god-awful noise was. She was referring to that one.
