Edited by: AsheRaven on 17/11/2004 07:41:30 Damn you Pulogor.
You know your history as well as anybody, that the stones were discvered during the Raven/Shakor clan's nomadic periods in the deserts before we came to settle on the islands. These stones were the pinnicle of our survival, and the cornerstone of our culture and economy.
There is no ritual performeed around these stones> We do not idolise them as faulse gods, but we do derive a great deal of imagry and representation from them. Like the eagle is the symbol of imperialism in some cultures, the stones are a representation of what we believe all life came from. Even a mongral traitor branch race such as yours.
The only race likely to abuse them in pagan ritual is more like the Amarrian people. I will liberate these stones, more the rightful property of the Raven, and recognise them for the cultural education it will give our younger generations. We coiuld have claimed all three for our own, and no one tribe (excpet perhaps yours, who have no say in Minmitar politics anymore) would question that right. Instead we choose to give these stones to the people of Matar, as is our right to do so. ---------------------------------

"I've been forced to make a pit stop in the ******* region. Seems Sidyous cronies are real eager to get these stones back. And I can't say I blame them."
"You safe?"
"I'm alright it's the stones you should be worried about."
"The stones can be retrieved again, you can't. You don't have an offical clone license remember?"
"Ashe, when you get to my age, you begin to realise there's more to living than staying alive."
"So whats the plan?"
"I was hoping you could tell me. My ship is out of date, there is no way I'll get this thing to the Republic by myself anymore. The CVA would rip my ship apart before I could scream for help. How about that massive fleet your working on?"
"I can't gurrantee massive, ut we'll sort it out. You hang tight there. I'll forward you some isk. Buy yourself a drink."
"I'll buy several..."

I would interfere in the return of these "sacred relics" only to see real terrorists punished for their crimes.
It is typical of these animals to worship rocks, howl at the moon, paint their faces, and throw sticks at one another.
Filthy heathens, the Lord will see you brought to holy justice.

Ahh, it is true. The Amaarians are not only ignorant of culture, but they do not read either
Let me repeat myself once again:

As a former archeologist and collector of antique items (had a little mix-up with Amarrian Customs a few years ago, not that I was doing anything illegal of course... ), I've been watching this subject with a great deal of interest. I wish you good luck on your campaign to reclaim them.
That being said, it is easy to see that ownership of these artifacts are a great source of conflict between your own people, Mr. Raven, and those of the Amarrian persuasion. Might I propose that the stones be kept in Concord, or other "neutral" space, thereby protecting it from clandestine acts of agression and theft in your own back yard.
P.S. Will you be arranging any sort of exhibition of the stones for the public? I would very much like to see them, they sound wondrous!

Edited by: AsheRaven on 19/11/2004 18:07:32 Those of our clan on the Brutor council wil be in session with Miludar on what wil be done with the Republic's stone. It is down to her.
I'm sure she knows, as well as anyone, how the Brutor will react if she decides it is better to return Brutor property back to the Amarrian theives who plundered it from our worlds. If not, she does now.
The PRM will decide on their placement, thouh it is my wish that after an exstensive security detail has been set out, the stone will be placed in the heart of the PRM council chambers, for all to see.
The Raven however would wish for time to reflect on what to do with their Stones. It has been too long since a Raven has put an eye on these stones, so you can imagine how emotional this is for us right now. Rest assured a decision will be made sooner rather than later.
We invite members of the Parata wa, our friends and cultural rivals to be with us in this auspiscous moment, when we reveal the stones to our clan members. We know that they can appriciate the wonder of these stones to our clan culture, and differences aside, will respect our culture as we respect theres. We would like this unveiling to at least heal a gap that has overshadowed us for too long. ---------------------------------

I'll give you a hand getting these stones back Ashe, if it's within my power to do so.
I'd also like to have a look at one in my lab to see if we can't unlock their geochemical secrets, using non-intrusive scanning equipment of course.
If that would be seen as sacreligious, I would of course respect your reluctance and would in no way wish to create a cultural contretemps.
But the potential humanitarian benefits that might be had from a stone that can bring water to a desert are enormous and should not be overlooked.

Indeed. The propertiers alone are valuble and could save many lives on desert and outerrim worlds if we could ***** the basic makeup of the stones. So far our scientists have failed to repilicate the stones structure and make up.
Any input will be of a great help. And shared with the Eve Galaxy to all who would seek to help and benefit others less fortunate. ---------------------------------

With the aid of an annomynous Pod pilot, another stone has been secured by the Raven Clan's Neris Sisterhood.
Fourth Stone found
We thankyou for your aid, though righht now it remains a mystery as to who the slaves original holder was. We can only hope that they met the judgement they well deserved in fire. Raven Clan/Neohazard Recruitment |
