+1 great read!
Took out the Zephyr for a spin today (first time) and found a wormhole. Jumped in ... but alas, I don't have the fame yet. Got jumped and the Zephyr got taken out. Managed to jump out. Going to scan more but i'm only going in Wormholes with a Fleet behind me ;-)
Still keep it up!

This was far too tedious, I need a better (faster) way of determining the types of anomalies. Currently I am using five probes at once, one in the middle with the other four about half overlapping the middle probe and slightly each other. If that wasn’t clear enough it was the way scanning was done on the CCP video tutorial.
I tend to use 4 probes set in a tetrahedral pattern like this. After some practice it is a lot quicker than using 5 probes and more accurate than using 4 probes in a square.

I hope you're still doing this, it is a very interesting read. Just a hint, right click on a wormhole signature, and click on: Ignore other signatures. No ladar, gravemetric, mademetric, or radar signatures will appear. Only wormholes. Welcome to EVE. |

I am still doing this when I can it's just RL plus my Main eve life decided to intervene. But don't worry i'm still in some dangerous wormhole just waiting to be ganked.

Edited by: Monva on 23/02/2010 10:57:40 So where is this wormhole? *powers up sock launcher*
Nah just kiddin', have this thread added to 'favourites'. I keep checking and hoping. Did something similar when I was playing Morrowind, wrote a huge log of my adventures and it really spices up the gameplay. Keep 'em comin'!
