1.What do you feel is the greatest thing about Eve?
Possibly the fact that it will always be expanded until they close it down.. More so then other MMO games which do get upgrades but the updates are usually.... same stuff as last patch, just new names. At least CCP expand EVE into new ideas (Talking DUST and Walking in stations here, which are radical changes to typical game play)
2.What do you feel is the biggest problem with Eve?
The fact that CCP is catering EVE to a "newer" audience, which I know is important but some things really should appear to be unobtainable to newcomers. When I first joined owning an outpost was a goal of mine I wanted to own a station in which people docked at etc. Come to find out it was pretty much unobtainable because of other players etc. While that is still unobtainable for me, I have the resources to build an outpost, just can't keep one. It's not so much the fact I don't have one, it's the fact that if I was playing alone I would have one pretty quickly. (Yes I did consider building one on SISI to fore fill my dream)
3.What failed venture/scam do you feel most strongly about? Why?
EBANK... LOL Rich coming from me I know, but really who is left there where not only shocked at Ricdic and all the other directors that stole from EBANK (Or tried to) left me a little bitter because of it. I stuck with EBANK pushing trust, really threw it all in because I trusted the ones around me. Being stabbed in the back by the ones trust with everything you are and having them use it like toilet paper is heartbreaking.
4.What has been the most successful venture in your mind?
Block and his Corporations, almost half a trillion invested in the public, has been around longer then most realize. By far the second largest public venture in EVE yet not many know who he is. Successful because he is incredible smart, almost too smart for EVE, even if he sometimes looks at things with an odd point of view :)
5.Who is your favorite poster?
Thermond (Sorry I didn't look up the spelling) This guy is not only intelligent, but wise. People would be good to listen to what he says every time.
6.Who is your least favorite poster?
I'll say Taikun because that will make him feel better, but really the one guy that really gets under my skin is Gabriel Virtus. Because no matter how hard I try to explain anything he some how twists it into whatever he wants. And it's not about EBANK, it's about anything..
7.Favorite thread?
Any thread that allows me to collect information about in game stuff and exploit it 
8.If you could provide one change to Eve, what would it be?
More ISK sinks. My personal favorite would be Hangers, Items in hangers have a weight, the more weight the more monthly hanger fees you have, there needs to be an inventory fee, that would make people who hold onto billions of minerals for months on end start to reconsider. The second would be docking fees, heavy traffic stations gets big dock fees, hardly any traffic stations docking is very small or free.
9.If you could give only one piece of advice to a new Eve player, what would it be? To an existing Eve player new to trade?
Get a second account, train one Combat pilot, the other pure industrial, start with Hulk, then move up.
New to trade, Stay away from minerals, there is no money in there even if you move billions of units a day.
10.Your one-line message to the MD community.
Stop letting others sway your opinions towards their own, be more independent think for yourself, stay off the band wagons, every wagon breaks down eventually and if you stay on them you'll be broken.
11.Your one-line message to Eve as a whole.
Get out of HIGHSEC!! Go go go into Lowsec, if Lowsec is full of people, believe it or not pirates will have a hard time. because do gooders will be there to protect you from pirates. But do gooders will not show up to protect small groups of people, there needs to be a mass of people in order for it to work.

not enough on the server side to cope with the influx of new players. CCP, it seems, is more concerned with their "peak concurrent users online" then caring about the quality of the game while online!

Interstellar Starbase Syndicate (ISS)..I would have like to see these guys succeed, they had a great idea of what a "shared and free" 0.0 could be like. Plus their station IPO's were a great investment at the time.

-> The most realistic market I've seen yet. Its giving me a chance to dabble in trading, since I'm not allowed to in RL. (OK, I can, but not interested in Legal holding copies of my statements forever.)
2. What do you feel is the biggest problem with Eve?
-> Tutorial / Intro needs to get you more deeply into PvP at the outset. I've done the Advanced Combat group, its interesting, but was hoping for so much more. Learned more about pvp in two Agony roams. 
3. What failed venture/scam do you feel most strongly about? Why?
-> No comment, did not follow any of those too deeply since I'm relatively new.
4. What has been the most successful venture in your mind?
-> I've not followed it at all, but I suspect Akita's bond is going to surprise a lot of people when it finishes.
5. Who is your favorite poster?
-> Akita T, for the reasons mentioned in previous answers.
6. Who is your least favorite poster?
-> I considered not mentioning anyone, but choosing Ray anyway. He's reminding me of Prokofy Neva (an SL Resident) recently - up to and including the forum bans...

-> Akita's Post-Dominion Moon thread. There are a *lot* of gems there that reveal the inner workings of Eve's Market, and has helped refine my own base strategies.
8. If you could provide one change to Eve, what would it be?
-> Change their backend database to Sybase or Oracle.  [Note: We use Texas Mem disks on Sybase, they're perfectly happy.]
9. If you could give only one piece of advice to a new Eve player, what would it be? To an existing Eve player new to trade?
-> Both: Don't assume anything told to you, and do your own research/small tests before jumping in.

Not sure, I would vote for outdated and user unfriendly interface.

Improve interface, to more user friendly (for example, bigger overload button, cleaner, not so crowded window layout, overhauled drone interface etc.).

To a new player - don't trust anyone, be ready to lose, learn from your mistakes and remember - it's just a game, so enjoy it!
To a new trader - know the market, think and plan ahead.

Have no alts so you can't run away from your actions, bret used to be -10 and i worked my ass off with many people trying to stop me to lose that so I could re-enter high sec and start trading. I didn't just go make a "trading alt", as far as I'm concerned this is my toon all the others are supporting acts.

Be patience and don't put all your eggs in one basket you will drop one.

2.What do you feel is the biggest problem with Eve? Lack of interstellar storms that occasionally wrack havoc upon the universe - really shake things up.
3.What failed venture/scam do you feel most strongly about? Why? DBank and EBAnk scandals. The banks were so promising, and their failures were completely preventable.

Depth. Lots of new systems and things to learn.

Lack of player accountability/lack of legal system, which severely limits the potential that the game has for economic wheeling/dealing.

See #2. I don't play in ventures or get scammed b/c I don't trust anyone's word in this game. Scamming is too fashionable to permit me to trust anyone.

Provide an optinoal system of accoutnability - i.e. a legal system.
