now - they are like rd's now I guess,
each use gives the crystal x dmg,
1 / x dmg = no. of uses per crystal before you need a new one.
so 1 /0.00025 = 4000 uses

I pay an average 50 isk per proj round, on my short range tempest I use 6 autocannons which chew through bullets faster than Josh can post. I have been paying that forever for a weapon that is abysmally poor compared to a mega pulse and takes up cargo space.
I think anyone who complains about finally having to pay 250 isk per shot for 4000 rounds (based on a 1mil crystal price) from now on, really should foot the bill for all my ammo and missiles.

Originally by: Darkwolf This is making me think that the damage hasn't been implemented yet, and it's just some extra fields in the DB showing those attributes.
Maybe someone just did an sql update specifying "crystal" instead of "crystal II" or something?
damage is a server side attribute as it creates a unique entry. I imagin eit follows the RDB structure then where you can repair them in the repair screen.

For small/medium crystals there's not much difference when you compare the Isk/hit of each other guns.
/me think that large crystals should get destroyed after 8000 hits.
Look @ EVE-I Object Explorer for Shiva http://www.eve-i.com/home/crowley_dev/page/page_objectexplorer.php
There you will see that the Antimatter Charge L have a base price of 10k isk (thats for 100 shots you get out of building them). So 10k / 100 is also 100 isk per shot and thats the same
yes, the base prices are set by CCP and to be taken 'with a pinch of salt' when it comes to anything but ships and max insurance really. Use the market averages for stuff like ammo instead.

That is, incidentally, one of the few "goodies" with projectile weaponry - it allows you to select which types of damage you wish to inflict. However, contrary to Energy weapons, they don't vary that by chucking in a few 1m¦ crystals extra, they need to carry tons of each type they wish to use, for the various ranges and so on.
dont forget the reload time and pwnage at most ranges.
