Simple - Add a button to the Contract screen that says:
Which will in-turn put the auction in a NEW TAB in your Contracts screen with appropriate columns showing the information we need to Watch an auction item. 
If we can do this on ebay in the 21st century why can't we do it in EVE in the 38th century?

Auction contracts in general need a complete overhaul.
Things I would like to see:
-The "Watch Auction" feature as listed.
-A proxy bid system like e-bay where you specify the maximum bid you will be willing to pay, and as other people bid, your bid gets auto-incremented until your limit is exceeded
-A customizable increment, either a percentage of the original price or an isk amount in thousands. The mandatory 10% make it so that auctions for very expensive items will only recieve one or two bids because the minimum increment is 10%.
-A hidden reserve price. This would allow people to start auctions at a lower price than the reserve to encourage bidding.
-Option to show the EXACT time that the option ends, to encourage people to bid like mad as the auction end nears.
-The ability to implement a sniper rule, with a configurable timer between 5 and 30 minutes.
-An option to make the "buy it now" option vanish once a certain price threshold has been met, or to disable it mid-acution.
-An option to simply accept the current high bid as the auction winner.
-An option to place the auction anonymously, revealing the sellers identity only to the eventual winner.
-An option to pull the auction within a certain period after its been created, in case the seller seriously screws something up and does not notice before a bid is placed. 12 hours should probably be reasonable.

Totally agree!
If anyone out there uses auction contracts please leave feedback for CCP to hopefully read.

CCP is too busy ducking the Lag issue atm to take up new improvements to EVE.
