I think part of the problem with losing local is that you'd be left with no choice but to spam the directional scanner in dangerous systems, which i really don't think the code is set up to efficiently handle.
Not really liking the %chance to find cloakers, since that would make gate camps very difficult to deal with. Gate camps are a crappy form of pvp, and i'm not in favor of giving them any boosting.

There is no local changes in my idea, just a new ship.

Well it seems ok, I just don't like the idea of destroyer getting away with one click. I'd rather have him play with directional scanner and being able to shoot a pulse when it detects a cloaked ship in something like 5¦. Which if hits the cloaked ship decloaks it.

Well I explained what I would like to see and I hope something does come about.
1) It would make things more exciting in different ways and bring back the old sub hunts of old.
2) It might be needed with some of the designs of the T3 Ships, I have one now and buying more and I think with the Cov Ops package, things could get real nasty soon as people with money and skills make good use of them.
