Finally caught up on the Joe Show.
You guys got it all wrong.
Joe is the most brilliant troll the world has ever seen and I am astounded by his sheer awesomeness...
because there's just no other explanation. There can't be. --------- War isn't the answer. However, the objective isn't to provide answers rather than eliminate the question. |

Ha! Clearly your simple mind cannot comprehend the sheer amazing brilliance of Joe. Puny weakling.
That's the ONLY possible explanation. "Why?" you ask. Because it's not possible to contain this much stupid. I should know. I'm a doctor.
Joe - I understand and bow to your total awesomeness...
(...not really a doctor...) --------- War isn't the answer. However, the objective isn't to provide answers rather than eliminate the question. |

Crap - Joe, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to expose you!
Originally by: Zedrik Cayne If Joe is a troll...he is masterful. I'm betting on 'not a troll' myself.
I hearby found the Church of Joe(tm). Your lack of faith is disturbing - you will be branded as a heretic. Accepting donations - all of which will continue to fund the war so that Joe might troll till the ends of eternity! Please send to this character. --------- War isn't the answer. It seems to me that you don't fully understand how Providence works. As long as Joe never fires a shot in aggression, they'll back him up without question. Should any of CVAs little low-sec pet corps catch on, they'll whine and CVA will ignore them. Should the pet corps do anything about it, they'll be branded as pirates. I've been messing with them for a long time and they're pretty black and white about things.
I've got a couple of my adventures over in that space at eve-pirate. Not nearly as epic or entertaining as the Joe Show tbh though.

Hrm... I seem to recall them being very liberal with it. I'm fairly certain they've redlisted at least 4 of my characters at some point or another for various reasons.
Hey - it's not MY fault they let their pets mine lowsec in unprotected hulks! --------- War isn't the answer. However, the objective isn't to provide answers rather than eliminate the question. |

Originally by: Exaduss I posed a question to a -7- diplomat, in passing.
A CVA neutral corp, call it ImpCom, declares war against another corp, call it BL_ARR.
ImpCom then proceeds to hide in Providence, with the holders protecting them against their own war targets.
Now, this so far is fact.
Is this how the CVA intended the NRDS policy to be used?
I understand fleeing to Providence to avoid declarations against you. But staying there and relying on the good graces of the holders to protect you from your own war targets seems a bit much.
This is how CVA NRDS mechanics have operated for years. They have been used in such a way on numerous occassions fairly constantly, and it has been brought to their attention - this is not something they are ignorant of. They have protected macroers, smacktalkers and cowards, and use their pet corps to do it.
