Hello all, I've tried the search option and crawlled through the last ten pages without success.
I don't have a clue about pvp, so I wanted to try it out with some friends. Alas they are in another corp and we all got the security warning. So we teamed up in a fleet and still concord will shoot us down. We have manually set our standings to 10.
So my question: is it even possible to set up a pvp fight with pilots from another corp within highsec? I see people fighting all the time. Are they in the same corp/alliance?

2 options:
- just shoot them and get shot by concord
- pay a fee to wardec them and you can hunt them down freely

You could drop two cans of cheap ammo, one for each corp (or more cans for more corps), have each side pull from the other sides cans, and now you can shoot.

We practice this from time to time to test out our fittings. We of course dont take the fight all the way, maybe to 1/2 armor then say "uncle".
Never saw a single Concord ship.
A 10th of all I earn I keep for myself. |

u need to set ur standings to 0.0 Drop a Cargo container.
get the Other guy to pick up. Then He goes red. U are free to fire at red.

If both corps wardec each other, there will be no fee for either corp.
But most importantly, get everyone on the test server (I don't have time to post a link, but you should be able to find instructions on the main website). Everything is more or less free on TS. So, once you are there; fight like crazy and loose as many ships as you want. Learn as much as you can in the process. =)

This is good advice,link to the test server info page.
Practicing pvp as a corp will help a lot in fights on TQ as long as you have an aim for each exercise, eg kiting, tracking, remote rep, ewar etc. I've trained a couple of corps in pvp and find that splitting exercises in to 3 works well.
1) Explain the theory behind your chosen topic and demonstrate using preprepared ships.
2) Get everyone to try the maneuver for themselves.
3) Find some targets on TQ and use it in anger.
