There I was, with my buddy, just looking for something to pewpew
and then... this happens
I only just made it out, but for a very brief moment as I weaved through a curtain of missiles, I was playing Macross Online.
Also, wtf jams?

This has been 'discussed' quite often on these boards.
I'm sure someone from the caldari militia will be along soon to tell you that its perfectly balanced and you should suck it up.
Next will be someone from gal. militia to tell you that the missile spam and perajams are completely unbalanced, but only caus it means you cant pvp in caldari plexes, not caus anyone in the militia cares about plexing.
After that some lunatic from the Amarr militia will come and explain that your screen shot of you travailing fast in a plex is a blatant exploit and you should be petitioned.
I have no idea what the Minmatar militia think about plexes though but if you're really lucky Damar will post explaining how anyone that isn't Damar is exploiting every time they do anything.. ever.

This may be useless but I'm pretty sure I successfully jammed an NPC on a Caldari plex yesterday (odd, I thought pve npc's were immune to ewar) . Fight fire wif fire! =D

Always carry pack of EC-300's with you. Yes, NPC's are easy to jam.

So you are saying that there is something wrong if you go to pew pew in Faction warfare major plex with cruiser size ship, Plex has full npc spawns, and those are defending your target who is burning away using his range as benefit.
come on, of course there is something wrong, those npc are like lvl4 mission npc and you (or someone else) has shot all triggers !
I am sure you do missions with cruiser class ship.
Faction Warfare has its own tricks and all uses those. Learn to play.

Not related, but I can confirm you can jam the NPCs in plexes, but the chance is really really REALLY low.
(Source: being a bored jammer pilot in a combat wing defending a plexer.)

It's wrong cause that same caracal in a gallente plex, fully spawned, would be tanking it easy at that range and speed.
And I'll jump in on the gallente side for knifee's prediction :D. Rats should be toned DOWN to allow for more pvp to occur in those plexes. I'll keep saying that even if we recapture all the systems (and we have 17 now) and there's only gallente rats, mark my words.

Hahaha that picture is great!
By the way i saw someone say that ECM drones can jam an NPC. I have never, ever seen it work on AI.
I try them a lot, but to no avail it seems, so that answer really baffled me.
I'm still waiting to see them work, i hope they do one day.

ECM works perfectly fine.

I remember back before the nano nerf, I was in a Caldari plex in an 8 km/s Ares (easy to do with t2 stuff) orbiting with full aggro for the lols, and some random stealth bomber (again, ages ago, so they used cruise missiles) dropped in and fired. We had a good lol in local at the absurdity of it, then I screwed up and ran into something. Having about 500 missiles impact me at once was one of the funniest moments I've had in Eve :)
