I've run a lot of lvl 4 missions since Dominion and realised yesterday I hadn't been offered recon. Indeed as far as I can recall I haven't been offered it since Dominion. Is it just me being incredibly unlucky with the random number generator or has anyone else noticed this? In case anyone just suggests I haven't run enough missions I currently have 8 lvl 4 storyline missions on offer.

Not all missions are offered by all agents.
The missions that are offered by a particular agent- its not exactly a random draw.

I imagine the agent he missions with has given him the mission before, or he wouldn't be wondering why he hasn't gotten the offer since the expansion.

Indeed - I'm fully aware of how there is effectively a subset of missions available from each agent. I've had Recon numerous times in the past from the agents I'm using atm. There are three possiblities:
1. Really, really unlucky and even though Recon is on their list I've not received it (will be proved if I get offered Recon)
2. For some reason Recon has been removed from the list of possible missions for these specific agents (will be proved if someone else has had Recon form a lvl 4 agent since Dominion)
3. Recon is no longer available as a lvl 4 mission from any agent. (will be proved if noone has had it since Dominion).

Haven't had recon since dominion, but haven't had worlds collide either. Seem to have gotten every other mission I'm used to getting though.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started.

I too haven't seen recon for while. I used to get it fairly regularly. I have switched from my old agent though. I've used two different ones since the switch, one in Devoid and the other in The Citidel. Haven't gotten a recon mission out of either of them. It's been over a month since the agent change.

Joining the chorus of "Not having any Recon (1of3)" since Dominion....
I regularly pulls from 20-ish agents declining most missions bar Gone Berserk, WC4, The Blockade and Recon...
Have had loads of WC, a single Gone Berserk and a few Blockades, but none whatsoever Recons :(

I haven't had a Recon 4 for 3-4 months. I started out in Didioxie area Fed Navy/Intel agents and got the mission pretty regularly, at least once a week. Went to caldari space for a couple months for a change of scenary, then mimitar space where I learned their level 4 mission qualities suck in general  , and came back to Gallente space back in late sept/early oct. Only good missions I was getting on a regular basis from the same Didioxie agents is AE4, Gone Beserk, and Damsel which I run, I won't touch serp or gurista missions, jamming sucks on a battleship and I would love to run a level 4 blockade if it wasn't for 15 km sensor range

I remember when Break their Will (the repair station mission) was a L4, I think they limited it to a L3 now. Alas, I don't use that agent anymore though.

Haven't had Recon in Months at any level.
Meanwhile, Mats for war is now worth less than 1% faction gain.

Go along with this, crap loads of wc's, a few blockades and an odd other decent mission, vengeance,pirate invasion and gone beserk etc but not a single recon since dominion, that is using 3 charactors on 2 agents each, also no other lvl 4 runner in my corp has had it offered either.

Just wanted to add that I've now pulled more than 300 missions (since Dominion) - most declined and not a single Recon...... Worlds Collide seems common tbh - only a few Gone Beserk and Blockades - not keeping track of other missions as I usually don't farm those....

Ah yes, a bucketload of WCs too. Had atleast ten or so for 50-60 missions i've run so far.

So how would you petition this? Doesn't look like there is an appropriate category. This mission was actually a pretty good way to increase my sec status while living in low sec. It's already tough enough living here.

Recon L2 was giving nightmares to illiterate nubs so they pulled Recon L4 to save GM time? Just a wild guess.

Just got one, from Vir Honn in Emolgranlan. First one I've gotten since Dominion, altough I haven't been doing a lot of missions. Might upload a screenshot of it somewhere later if I feel like it.

Just had someone tell me they got it verus Sansha in Tash, from a public relations agent. ( lvl4 )

I got two level 4 recons today in tash-murkon. It is the first time I have seen them in my level 4 missions. From administration and financial.

I just got recon from two different agents yesterday as well, and have never gotten that mission at all from them once before.
