As a mothership pilot I completely agree with this statement. Id prefer CCP to spend these few days with player tests on lag than have my new toys on a fake server for a few days

if lag could be fixed as simply as throwing a few hundred people onto the test server, it would have already been done. i dont see anything significant coming from this, only CCP's appearance to be doing something about the torrent of tears coming out of Y-2...
Somehow the HostilePERIOD capital fleet will have to do without your supercap(if you even own one) for a few more days! THE HORROR!

we have a few :)(and i own a few too)
and you commenting on us having to live without them is amusing, considering the tears fueling this latest "fix the lag" campaign are because goons/PL lost more titans in 1 fight than any other coalition has done in a week.
i've seen your posts recently and most are ok, aside from my snipe at GS/PL in my previous post, you cannot deny that i'm right. i dont see that CCP will learn anything they didnt already know from the sisi tests. like i said, i wouldnt be surprized if its just being done to please the playerbase.
i could go on about my part in Y-2, but why show my cards when i can simply continue pulling strings and amuse myself with your ignorance?
Actually I can deny that you're right as the new lag issues are in fact new and have not seen any testing. CCP has come a long way before dominion in optimizing their systems to reduce the amount of lag seen in large scale fleet fights. This fix the lag thing was scheduled before the y-2 engagement even happened but hey I shouldn't bring facts into your little ***** fest should I?

the y-2 incident and resulting tears have raised the public priority to fix the lag issue (i.e. more "in the public eye"). and i've np with that. and i never said that this test is because of, or the resultant of y-2.
i said that CCP probably dont expect to find anything they didnt already know, so the only effect this will have is that players will see that ccp is trying to fix it; and hopefully be less ****ed off.
i'm done fighting little forum warriors.
Actually even on reinforced nodes the exact same thing happens. But I bet you wouldn't know that since you likely live in lowsec.
