Right now I'm out and about popping rat BSs building sec status back up after smartbombing in Dodixie and accidentally hitting a pod (lol). It's slow work. I've only managed to get from -4.89 to -3.93 after two days of this now, and I'd really rather be able to go back to the stuff I was doing before I was castrated by Concord.
Currently I'm popping a battleship, then moving on to the next system, on the word of a corpmate that this helps it go up faster. But if this is fast, holy god damn how slow must it be to do it normally.
Any tips on improving my sec? I'm already about to train Fast Talk. With my heavier ships located in highsec and my ability to take stuff to Dodixie for sale gimped by pointy, blasty NPCs, EVE is getting

If at all possible... stick to the 1.5mil bounty and up. They give the best increase, with 1.85's giving something like .25% or something similar. I managed to go from -10 to -3.4 in about 24hrs of ratting in a stealth bomber up in venal just killing the higher value rats.

No that's pretty much the best way to do it. Just make sure you aren't returning to a system that you have already killed a BS in and killing another BS spawn before you receive your wallet/security status increase for that system. Should be about 1 gain every ~15 minutes per system.

Train a couple of levels of Fast talk too....that will help.
I dont know if this will work, but go to empire in a shuttle or even a POD, and team up with a corpie while he runs L4 missions.

Curious myself... I'd like to repair an alt's standing, and this method would be ideal, if more time-consuming.

In order to get your share of the mission, you need to do something against the npcs... web/td/dmg/whatever... In a pod, you can't.
