I recently got a Logitech G110 for the holidays, and I'm looking for ideas on what to assign my g-keys to.
I already have keys that hit the selected items buttons ("Warp to 0", "Align", "Jump", "orbit", etc), and I've also assigned a button to click the Tactical Overlay button. And, of course, I have a key for the F1-F8 buttons, cause the weapon grouping feature is still kinda meh
I'm wondering what other people use there's for. =)

For me, they're assigned for all highs, all mids, all lows, drones attack, drones return and orbit, drones return and dock
as well as 3 for mids, and 3 for lows.
I have the old G15 keyboard, the one with 18 G keys, so I have lots of space. The newer ones have to go through the mode keys too to flip to secondary and tertiary sets of keys.

I have basically the same setup.
G1-6 : Usually only weapons, if grouped I just don't use the other keys. G7-12 : AB / MWD / Points / Web / Any utility from highs G13-15 : 1st Rep / 2nd Rep / Hardeners G16: Alt-Tab : Good for Two Accounts G17: Drone Engage G18: Drone Return
How are you doing the "Warp to 0", "Align", "Jump", etc?...scripts? (I just got mine for Christmas, haven't looked into the LUA scripting yet, seems like that is walking the EULA line though.)

I only have "Align to ...", "Jump" and "Orbit target at ..." (but I have the range set to different keys to make things easier).
On M3 I added "Select Fitting", so I can easily switch from pvp to PVP mode as required (Ship selection is on M4). -- EVE Mobile Skill Planner V3 !! http://evemsp.sourceforge.net/ |

Edited by: Touring Eve on 31/12/2009 05:14:20 I personally think that being able to set keys to have a macro right click the orbit button and select a distance should be/is a EULA violation. Being able to do that gives you a distinct and unfair advantage. If CCP wanted users to be able to do this they would put it in the keyboard shortcuts menu.
If everyone could do this I wouldn't care but seeing as only people with special hardware/software can I find it unfair.

CCP have already declared that the G15 is fully accepted.

I have the G11 and I can't get the profile software to even detect games installed on my PC. I do have buttons set as many of you do, for weapons, reps and other stuff, but alot of my keys go unsused at this time because I don't know what else to set them to.

I once had a G3. It wasn't made by Logitech and only had one trigger and one switch.
I envy people with fancy stuff!

I got myself a Belkin n52te when I started to play WoW. I have fiddled with key bindings for Eve, but gave up trying to use it. In any case you just don't need the speed of using keys in Eve, cause unlike WoW clicking is a viable strategy.
