Hunting npc convoys and getting mods and weaps not just market goods.
Mines, wish they would bring these back. I had 100s a yr after they took them out including the BPs

Fav memories for me are
1) Mines, God i loved them (still got some Anaconda's somewhere)
2) Evolution flying with the Northern coalition (before BoB)
3) The 'Great War' and as far as im concerned there is only one of them involving well almost everyone :)
4) The Disbanding of 'G' alliance and well the falling of the old North
5) getting scammed for the first time by a bookmark seller grrrrr
6) Can Art was always fun to see
and OFC special mention to the Space Invaders in Tribute, Zombies of Yulai and to the old GM's that flew in Eve and well cared about the game

I think it's more about what you've done in your time than how long you've been playing though.

I remember No warp to zero so 20 jumps was an insanely long trip and having to have bm the station even when mining belts in empire..When you joined a 0.0 alliance you had to get the 300 bm to get there safe.

I remember sitting AFK in Jita, in a badger mining Massive Scordite for hours on end, when 90 people in system was a lot.
First time I saw a -10 in highsec, flying a badger of all things. Locked him and activated my mining lasers. Which were fitted to my Cormorant.
When interceptors flew faster than light missiles.
Fitting 2 pulse lasers, 3 artillery cannon, and 2 blasters on my destroyer, then offlining the artillery because there wasn't enough grid. And somehow successfully completing Worlds Collide. Wondering why I ran out of cap so fast, while only firing my guns

May 7 2003 here, no breaks.
- Corp stripping the belts in Usi to make Vexors (and later Domis) for corp members from our first corp ship BPOs
- I have a screenie from September 2003 of me being very brave and flying my domi with 15K of megacyte in the hold, that represented a large amount of our corp assets at the time.
- Flying my Rifter 50+ jumps from Lonetrek to Aridia to see if there were any unusual items on the markets there I could buy and bring back to sell for a huge profit, only to find it was only the same stuff as Lonetrek just a lot less of it as there were no players selling down there in those days. I lost my rifter to a gate rat on the way back and did about 30j in a pod.
- Spending whole days killing rats and emptying the cache containers at The Myridion Strip in Ezzara in my Tristan.
- Chaining spawns in WY-9LL until all you could see was hundreds of cans.
- Falling asleep in a Vigil and waking up in a pod thanks to the 500 isk rats at Sivala X

Though I had been interested in EVE since 2003, lack of cash and a decent computer prevented me from playing. 
I remember an article in PC Gamer about a corporate spy who became the 2nd in command of a large corp/alliance, then ambushed the CEO and blew up her Apocalypse Navy/Imperial issue. He wasn't banned, no huge nerf, all considered within game mechanics. THAT is an MMO, screw that kiddie fun land that is World of Warcraft. 
I am now an 08er, not as early as I'd like but meh.
