On a related note.
The fight was surprisingly lag free. I don't think anyone got stuck (at least on our side) and everyone could cycle weapons. Fighters responded and cargo-holds opened.
It was a very enjoyable cap fight.
Had the node been reinforced?

We killed 30 dreads, lost 47.
Fight occured at a very nasty faction POS, and PL & goons had 10 titans on the field which certainly helped contribute to dread losses  .
The hostile TCU was destroyed as well shortly before downtime allowing us to hopefully take this station.
*WTB an op that can count.  , bet he won't change the title though. If all else fails, run to CAOD

I read on coad that raping a fleet while you are outnumbered 2 to 1 is risk free pvp.

BTW, we also just took that station system as well. In summary, yes, I guess losing a station system + TCU + dreads despite having 10 titans on the field + your cap fleet is a "raping" indeed.

Well, thanks for the 500 mil TCU + station I guess. Those TCU's don't matter, just ignore the rest of them in fountain as well.
PL CAOD damage control is the best control. Neveh must be on damage control duty tonight.

So, if I am following this topic correctly, IT's objective was to kill the TCU, capture the station, and ultimately be the ones holding the flag at the end of the day. GoonSPLOT's objective, on the other hand, was to maintain positive KB efficiency and have GFs all around. Is this correct? Cuz if it is, I'd say it was win-win.

On a side-note, when the Allies stormed Normandy on June 6th of 1944, their "killboard efficiency" was estimated to be 46% with @4700 allied deaths, and @4000 axis. I don't remember anyone saying that they lost that battle though. So I guess we won?

I can confirm the 20 more dreads we lost for a station, oh and watching Goons and PL run a large active fleet over NYE rather than going out was not worth it and we are now disbanding!
Didn't what that station anyways!
And what did you look forward too tonight? Us securing the system with no resistance?

On a side-note, your killoard efficiency is only 41%, which is actually lower, just in case you're not so good with numbers(you aren't). And 1st part of your post was p.chill.

To be fair, this is the best Maverick navy and Anzac have ever done. Happy New Years, you're taking stations in a region you will never control. Old Guard Bobbit's must be itching to press the "Kick corp" button on these lemmings lol.
