Hey bro, I ain't trolling, just calling it as I see it based on facts. One of these is that IT is very adept at dying, despite outnumbering their foes. In a post dominion enviroment that's pretty extraordinary wouldn't you say? Given that now more than ever PVP is a numbers game.
Why is it always the littlest dog that yips the loudest? Care to chime in with the voice of experience from RELEVANT PVP powerhouse of Ushra Khan?

Hey Dian you can blame your forum warriors from Trigams Edge, DICE and UK for this. I've been a quiet and respectful observer of CAOD for many years however recent reading of their posting has driven me over the edge, much like when Michael Douglas couldn't get a breakfast at 11.01.

It's funny. A lot of people say they want to fight, then as soon as one presents itself run for the hills. Care to speculate as to why?
Also on the subject of reserves. Don't PL still have all those shiny ships they won from the alliance tournaments? Marmars or something. They're probably worth quite a lot on their own on top of all the moon gold.

At this point, it's all in the mind. Why waste ISK on a war you are steadily losing when you have no income to speak of? Slowing IT down is really all they are doing at this point, not changing the end result.
I don't think you really understand. From the looks of all the major battles Goonsplot are farming IT for kills, much in the same way people used to farm KOS. It's not a question of slowing them down, goonspolt are having fun.
It now just becomes a question of how much damage they can do to IT while taking minimal losses. Quite a lot I should imagine given their reserves. Space can be taken and taken back, but IT will always be terrible.
Your powers of trolling are weak, and transparent.

Going down as an alliance isn't so much of a problem, if you atleast do it in style and stick trough it till the end. You/PL however don't seem to be handeling it as well as ex-BOB trough Delve.

Going down never seemed to be much of an issue for bob, new or old, it was pretty much the only way they could convince their army of pets and allies to go down with the ship, so to speak.
So in order to go down with style, like bob, what do you have to do? Get camped into a station for a month? Lose multiple cap fleets shortly after posting on CAOD how awesome you are? Batphone every useless pet in EVE including -A- and try to cram them in one system and still lose? Cry to CCP about Sov mechanics/alliance names? Let me know when we get warm?

Hey skulled, perhaps you could link me the dictionary you use so we can all get on the same page about "winning".
Cuz last I checked it was about territory and resources (like most wars) and, again last I checked, we've got more than we had before.
And you got less.
But I may be using the wrong definition of winning so like I say, please do list me what definition we should be using.

That's a matter of perspective.
Goonswarm have the whole of Delve, Querious and Period Basis, which the coalition of holy alliances took from your colaition of unholy alliances like Ben Affleck taking candy from a baby.
PL still holds the majority of Fountain (but is based out of NPC Fountain anyway).
Up until now you have had nothing to lose, so it's not like you were going to get any worse, so by virtue of the fact you started with nothing you have acheived ~something~. However now you have ~something~ to defend, where as before it was like picking a fight with a homeless man ;)

Yep sure. Worldcom is dead and MCI is a legitimate business in no way connected to the aformentioned.
When IT dine in NOL then we may give credit where credit is due. So far they've recruited indiscriminately, lost a hell of a lot of ships and taken a little bit of space from an alliance 1/4 of the size.

Firstly, the war isn't in Delve. That's like saying oh check it, xxXxxxXXdeath still have all those regions no one knows the name of, so they must be winning that war for their territory that's not being fought. You can't win or lose a game you're not even playing.
As for Fountain, results speak for themselves. I'd say PL/SOT are getting curb stomped. But that's ok, you can sugar coat things a bit more if you like, for public image ofc. Maybe you'll get a medal on your main or something, for being so steadfast a knight.

Strange, but you keep making the same points (albeit using slightly different words) over and over (and over and over etc.) again.
From an outsiders view, however you look at it (don't go on about the history - it's exactly that), IT previously held no space but now they do (and your 1/4 size alliance is backed up very substantially by the goon massive). For now at least, that means they're successful so far. If that's in part because they swelled their ranks to achieve this, then surely that was a smart enough thing to do?
Also, bear in mind that these corps you denigrate will be getting valuable experience, whilst taking part in the invasion. So if only a small percentage of those members end up as reliable pvp'ers from this experience, IT will be even stronger for it. Plus I'm sure those people are more than happy to be gaining said experience, even if it means people losing ships for now. It certainly doesn't look like they're losing ships at anything like an irrecoverable rate.
Who knows how all this will end up, but along with the war in the north it makes for decent 'external' entertainment.

Just saying that some people might be raising an eyebrow wondering why after amassing such a fiercesome fighting force you didn't seek retribution from your main aggrevators, the people that rat in your very grave in Delve day after day.
It's ok though, it's understandable that you need a bit of a morale boosting after previous defeats so decided to go after SOT space . But how's that working out for you when you can't even win a solitary fight despite outnumbering your opponents?

I like to cycle through the whole spectrum, especially when talking to a challenged audience.
We're not talking about ancient history here. BoB's corpse is hardly cold in the ground and now we have IT, an alliance with exactly the same leadership structure, albeit with a fresh 'all noobs are welcome in dominion' strapline. The only difference being the GBC is now a fully fledged member of the main alliance, an approach I'm sure Molle had to take to assuage the latest line of pets that they wouldn't be treated like second class citizens and left to die as the auld BoB did to the GBC on a number of occaisions.
So they mass recruited and picked a soft target, to start with, and expect platitudes despite taking heavy ship losses?
Maybe this is a new day for Molle et al, but a lot of us have seen it all before, and don't believe a word.
