And yes, it was a rant. I don't make a habit of it, but occasionally you just gotta let it out.
Ore can only be stolen if miners allow it - they have the power to prevent it completely.
If miners choose to allow their ore to be stolen they are consenting to it.
Thus they are in no position to moan.
Ore theft is 100% consentual PvP interaction, there is no need to nerf it.

You know you can have more than 1 in a belt at anyone time, I find that and Iteron 3 with hauler 4 can take 1.5 giant containers worth of gear. What this means is a I spend about an hour in a belt filling 6 cans with a mining rax, then haul 4 times to do a cycle. The best bit is I can go off and do other things as well and not worry about cans gooing poof or anything.
WTS: Male, 37, single, can fly starships, build rockets and dance Salsa.
WTB: Female, plays eve, lives near London UK |
