HI,
I was looking to scan for a wormhole - or any exploration site, and I came across a reading with the new Zephyr probe scanner. Using at least 4 probes (and I even went to 6 without any progress), I was only able to get the scanning results to about 62.1% in maximum clarity.
Is it possible that my character isn't trained enough for the exploration? Or is the Zephyr merely ineffective?
Also, if I'm just unable, what skills would actually make that %100 a possibility?

Zephyr lacks any good bonus to be useable.
I think it should get covops scanning bonuses. or atleast those of the t1 frigate.

just get a scanning frigate, they are cheap enough.
I wouldnt view the Zephyr as anything other than a novelty, as it'll soon be destroyed and you wont really be able to replace it.
Oh, also, even if you use more that 4 probes for a single signature, the scanning system only uses 4 probes with the strongest signal for each.

The Zephyr's real use is as a scout ship in WH's. Once the site is found, you can warp there and check out and assess the situation as Sleepers will not touch you.
This means you'll have to have a POS in the system with additional ships to run the sites, or an Orca to enable you to carry multiple ships into the wormhole.
As far as a dedicated scanning ship the Zephyr is weaker than each race's scanning frig, let alone a covops. You might keep one in the hold as a last ditch desperate measure to find your way out of a WH, but that's about it.

Don't even take your Zypher out of the hangar. Its one of those little things, that 3 years from now, you'll be able to fly it out, and no one else will have theirs anymore, or will never have seen one. Gives you bragging rights and a pile of **** that will be worth a **** ton in due time.

Beside skills, only way to give a little scanning strengh to the zephyr is using sister probes.
