Ok. Ive played MMOs for a looong time, and just had a corpmate leave corp under...odd conditions.
Another person in my corp accepted an application from a mid 2008 player..who fits 3 or 4 rails on a hyperion, didnt know that light drones work better on frigs in missions than ogres...just not behaving like a year+ old player. Corp history a mile long, never in a corp for more than 2 weeks.
1st day in corp, borrows some money from me (40m) to fit the hyperion he is using for missions, cause hes broke. 40m aint much, so yeah, loaned it to him. 1 day later, he says "corp is too small for me, see ya" and drops corp. PMs me, and does give me my isk back...
1) If this person was a scammer, wouldnt have returned my 40m, most likely.
2) If he had the money all along, why borrow it and then pay it back?
3) If he bought isk illegally, am I in any danger here? I do have the wallet log showing me sending 25m, then 15m, to him, and then him returning the 40m the next day (none done through contracts, just transfers)
TL/DR. Wierd plater joins my corp, borrows money, pays it back. Im jumpy as hell with the mad bannings and e-peenery going on atm. He may well have bought isk, made it missioning, just be wierd. who knows? Should I be at all concerned?

I think you should take a stress pill, sit down and think things over.
Seriously though, I wouldn't worry about it. There are stranger things going on in EVE than this.

You are probably right, but atm the fact that people are getting banned for taking isk from friends "leaving the game"
has me jumpy i guess.

once i had someone join my original corp called rancer defence force and they were called bettythegoat and we did some defending together but once i upgraded them they destroyed my corp and made it a part of the evil pirate corp united.
at least you got your isks lol

If he'd left, and not paid it back, could be he's a small time thief. but 40 mil.. eh.. Don't even worry about it. If the guy IS an RMTer, then you just show the chat logs, the trasfer of 40 mil TO him, then the transfer back. No biggie.

Yes, he is trying to get you banned by sending you illegal ISK. You should give it to me just to be safe.
