I barely (5% hull) survived an attack on my freighter yesterday in 0.6 space. I wish I had the presence of mind to save my combat log so I could tell you how many there were and what weapons they used, but usually only think of that kind of stuff when it is too late.
Funny thing is I only had 2.7b in cargo. Seems like there should have been bigger fish out there.

They are also stored on your pc in your Eve folder under game logs.

I fail, for some reason the folder was "hidden". There were 17 BS's (5 Ravens, 4 Typhoons, 4 Megathrons, 2 Tempests, a Maelstrom, and an Armageddon.)

you need 14+ bs¦s (preferably ravens and geddons prior to the prjectile boost) to gank a freihgter in a 0.5 or 0.6 system. It¦s really not that hard to coordinate if you set your mind to it .
A few alts with cargo scanners , a freighter to pick up ze loot and ze gank bs¦s .
I do however agree that ganking hulks is more fun :)

Not for the defenseless hulks man.
miners-you can: switch, rob, wardec, nerf, scam them, buy below market, pirate them on their way to sell. mining < trading, ratting, manufacturing from market bought minerals,they still wont go away |

Freighters move minerals and everything you can imagine and jump freighters, orcas or rigged industrials do not come close to their capacity. Considerably less freighters would have to die to have the same impact as killing a few thousand hulks.
Actually, Freightergeddon starts on February 7th at 1:00 Eve Standard Time, not a week after Hulkageddon ended.
