Well, again? Node crashes, systems down becase of overload of players? Now servers down at alternate days,,, Good job... We are really enjoying the Dominion Expansion SO MUCH!

Same thing for me as well. Was in the middle of salvaging a juicy lvl 4 mission. Couldnt understand why modules werent activating/deactivating correctly. Then I got dropped. Yaaaayy

Its not just you guys, its the whole EVE server cluster..
Its time to spend some money with VMware & give us 0 downtime...!

Me too, had 20 or so NCP Pirates around me, was about to warp out, but couldn't. Pirates fired, but no damage, I tried to stop firing but they would not stop, now it's dropped me from the game.
Anyone know what happens now? Will my ship be lost?
I am a noob.

Agreed. I can keep a $40 web server online with about 850,000 requests / hour... so it's just mind boggling that CCP can't manage to keep things running with all their resources.

....... You clearly have no clue what VMware vSphere can do.
I haven't read up on vSphere but in my experience all the supposed benefits of running servers on VMware are just hype. I think more than 75% of the time VMotion fails when we really need it.
